I tried the double bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. My sundae was yummy as always. But my favorite part of my visit was... Mike. He gave me service worthy of a 5 star restaurant. I was having trouble with my leg, so I don?t know if he was being kindor is always this kind, but he took my tray and later my food basket and brought me my sundae. We don?t have Freddie?s where I live so we definitely wanted to check out this cute place, let?s start with the reasons for the... 3 stars first? the floor was so greasy I could ice skate? people were slipping and sliding.. so gross. Most of the staff had nointerest in engaging.. not very southern of them. There was one staff member who was ABOVE AND BEYOND. I enjoyed peoplewatching her, she engaged with all the customers and walked around to tables when she wasn?t busy in the back checking onpeople. She was kind and welcoming. She needs a raise, and probably to train the other staff members. I asked her name, Shantay.Seriously.. let this girl know she?s amazing. Here?s what saved this review. I have found my new favorite burger place!!! The Double Bacon Burger was AMAZING! The patties weren't huge but they very... obviously were fresh and the flavor made up for the size of the patties. It doesn't come with everything on it but you can addit all (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup) at no cost!!! The employees are so nice and helpful. The atmosphere was so fun!My almost 3 year old just wanted to get up and dance to the music they had going. I live in Knoxville and will DEFINITELY begoing back!!! I really wanted to love this place. The reviews seemed decent and the restaurant has a lot of character but the presentation of... the desserts vs what?s advertised is FAR OFF. This is a pic of my sundae about 2 mins after I received it. I was severelyunderwhelmed with what was handed to me. I visited on a Saturday at 8pm, the drive thru was nearly wrapped around the building.That might?ve had something to do with the outcome of my sundae and concrete. But it was unpleasant enough for me not to wantto return to another Freddy?s. The kitchen and dessert station were a complete wrecked and most of the staff seemed veryoverwhelmed and in a frenzy making the orders. The food at least looks half decent. They have a longer wait time than most fast food restaurants, but that's to be expected and the food is made fresh to... order. They forgot my two large drinks, but when I went inside to correct the mistake they were apologetic and verykind. Service excellent. Not my favorite burger, but it was definitely fresh. I arrived at the drive thru at 8:07 pm, there were 2 cars in front of me. All three of us sat there for 20 minutes with no... explanation as to why or how much longer it would be. I finally ordered around 8:25. I didn?t get to the window until 8:35 anddidn?t get my food until 8:45? all this would be enough on its own, but the food was TERRIBLE. Normally I love Freddy?s but thefries were room temp at best, but honestly somehow colder than. The cone was half empty as seen in the picture. And the burgerwas the driest, most burnt burger I?ve had to date. Seriously deplorable service and abhorrent food. Read more
