I went from 5 stars to just 1. The 2 ladies that take orders, act as cashiers and are the waitresses have become so surly and... churlish that it is not worth going there any longer even though the food is really, really good. This weekend's order was thestraw that broke the camel's back. I ordered NO broccoli in my dishes and asked for several packets of hot mustard and sweetsauce. Instead I got very large amounts of broccoilli along with 6 packets of soy sauce and not a single hot mustard or sweetsauce packet!!! I spent $19.48 and not having the condiments I counted on to make my food perfect and the broccoli I can't standmade me angry.Wouldn't you be? Read more

Service was adequate (checked up on me, delivered everything to the table timely), food was hot, but man, it was just mediocre.... This is a run of the mill Chinese food place, and there's nothing spectacular about the flavors. Everything was exactly as onewould expect it to be, not bad at all, just nothing that sets it apart from every other Chinese place I've eaten at around thecountry. I ordered chow mein and rice they put this stuff on top of it it didn’t have any noodles in it. I called to tell them and they... say they put oyster sauce on top of all chow mein but there isn’t even chow mein in here the menu didn’t say anything aboutoyster sauce the rice is bland and gross they didn’t offer a refund they didn’t offer to substitute my food. The lady prettymuch acted like I should know that they were going to add something that they didn’t have on the menu to my food now I’m out$18 and can’t even eat this. Ordered from them using dinner delivered. Had a wonderful experience had requested them specially make my meal extra spicy. They... did a tremendous job it was flavorful and spicy and even coming in to-go boxes still fresh and hot. Will be ordering again! Read more
Very good shrimp fried rice. Perfectly cooked, lightly dressed with onion and corn for sweetness, and very generously portioned.... As take- out, it's carefully bagged in a sturdy paper bag, with plentyful soy-sauce, a fork, and fortune cookie. My lastrestaurant visit (not take-out) was great. Attention was good, prompt and sufficient. The dish itself was spectacular. (Seeattached picture.) I've not had a prettier offering in the city. It was very, very good, and modestly priced. Don't let thenegative reviews dissuade you not to visit CAC, nor its current 3.8 rating. Seems like a lot of the negative, even rude commentsare from those not familiar with cultural peculiarities such as eye contact, and general interactions among people of differentparts of the world.
