Love to shop here. Very clean, well-organized store, and especially love their bakery products!
We got what we needed and the prices were just okay. The staff were really attentive, especially the front end manager. The... reasons why I docked two stars are the produce and the stock rotation. With the produce, it was extremely slim pickings and Ihad to search for a while to find something fresh-ish. They need to clear out the bad produce. Not only that, but the stockrotation throughout the rest of the store is extremely questionable. I wanted to buy some Chi Chi's brand tortillas and by someluck noticed that they were expired before I bought them. I kept looking to find some that weren't expired and found that mostof them had passed their sell by date....the sell by date on some was nearly a year ago! I can understand a few here and therethat were past the date slightly--there's a lot of stock, few people to go around and rotate stock, and human error can and doeshappen. But, these were sitting there, piling up, for nearly a year, with most unsuitable to be kept for sale. So, I'm glad wegot what we needed and our interactions with staff were pleasant, but they really need to get better produce and keep an eye onany going bad, as well as rotate their stock. Read more
I thought I'd try getting my groceries delivered from Acme via doordash. My delivery was missing, apparently delivered to the... wrong address. It was very frustrating dealing with doordash. Finally I called Acme myself and was greeted by a smart a$$ namedAngel that is probably too young , inexperienced and in need of a safe space to recite her pronouns. THANKFULLY I finally got the Manager ED on the phone who was understanding, sympathetic and proactive. He re-shopped my order and delivered itpersonally. Now that's how you solve a problem and keep a local family as your loyal customers. Thank you ED! ??? on a sidenote, the store is always clean and organized . The staff is exceptional ( especially Felicia in pharmacy) I'm sure Ed's greatstaff Will be influential in Angel's growth. Can't wait for Acme to deliver their own orders. Their pick up option runs verysmoothly. Thanks again ED! ?????????????? Shout out to ?Michael ? in the deli department. I was singled out at self check out and told I had to carry my items outside and could not use a basket. Idk about you, but you... don?t single someone out and make them feel harassed and stereotyped at your local food store you go to every week. I?m going tohave to find somewhere else to shop where I?m not watched in the store like I?m stealing from them, have the cashiers give me anattitude consistently and icing on the cake your staff has no idea where anything is and then jokes about it in front of you.Extremely unprofessional and I?m really upset about it! The employees at this store are always so helpful & friendly! They frequently go out of their way to help, even if not... necessary. This store is located conveniently for me. The prices are definitely a little higher than in other stores, but ifyou shop the sales you can always find good deals. For the location & the service it is not worth it for me to go to adifferent store. I just wish that the quality of the peppers & the cucumbers was more consistently good! Read more
