Food is excellent, except the customer service staff they don't pay attention what you need in your order. They made a mistake 2... times plus the coslaw was spoil I did mentioned this it took 20 mints extra to get a fresh one. Who ever is in charge you bettersee your dates before serving it! The pulled pork is delicious. I also really like the Mac and cheese. The cornbread is super moist and delicious. My sons had the... ribs and loved the flavor. The girl at the register is super friendly and made ordering easy. The restaurant is full ofatmosphere and good music. The restaurant itself was very clean. I will definitely be coming back. I can't say I didn't like the food. First time here, customer service was very good. I don't think I got to sit down all the... way and my food was already being brought out to our table. I had the pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, corn bread (2slices), and hush puppies (????delicious). The place is rustic and has plenty of windows. There is parking that you pay for,it's about $1/hr which is perfect. I spent about 1 and a half here. They also serve beer and hard seltzers. Read more
Q-BBQ Oak Park hits it out of the park. Craving barbeque and can't decide which meat to order? Lucky for us they have the Papa Q... available. 10 good sized portions of their smoked meats and 4 sides. Crispy Burnt Ends, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Brisket,Pulled Chicken, Smoked & Spicy Wings, Spiced Sausage, Sliced Turkey and Ribs. Sides included Bacon Mac, Spicy Brussel Sprouts,Cole Slaw and their heavenly cornbread. This platter is enough to feed a family of four with some to spare. Packaged with threedifferent bbq sauces and pickles. Don't forget to ask for napkins and forks in case you're eating it on the patio or taking itto go. For the amount of money spent on this, it was not worth it at all. I'll start with the Mac, over cooked noodles and some were a... bit hard(in pic) and seemed have been in the warmer for a while. The mashed potatoes, well you can't mess those up, wink, wink.But oh, the brisket, the saddest part of the meal. Hardly any smoke flavor, sliced too thick and with the grain, instead ofagainst. The brisket didn't seem to have any fat trimmed from it. I only got 3 big chunky and fatty pieces.
