Do not waste your money or your health!!!. To think that some great shared memories had KFC in our childhood, and that a great... fast food company went from good to worse. If I could give -5 stars I would. The location was on Madison St in Oak Park,IL. Absolutely the worse service ever, it makes you wonder who the manager or owners are to ignore all the awful reviews andcontinue giving the same undesirsble service. We ordered ahead, got to the drive thru and we were infomed they were closingdown?. It was 6:30 p.m and their hours are listed till 9:30 p.m We did get our food (regretably), since, we have paid ahead absolutely the worse chicken ever and we got the wrong chicken with the grossest rancid taste of oil that made it not edible thechicken was so dark like if it was deep fried 3 times, our fries were not even room temp they were cold and rancid as well!. Bythe time we got home, it was too late to return the food because they closed 3 hours earlier. Please do not waste yourmoney......I should had believed the horrible reviews, but somehow I have to see it to believe. KFC has decline for theworse. This could be the worst Kentucky fried Chicken in the entire state. We are huge fans of the food but you just can't get it here... no matter the time of day. They are always out of something and you must wait at least10 minutes before someone can even takeyour order in the Drive-Thru. We tried it one last time today and drove off when told to wait and no one returned to themicrophone after 10 minutes. There was only one car, already at the window, when we pulled up. Our advice--drive to Berwyn andyou will get your food faster notwithstanding the drive! Read more
Great food, awful service. I ordered online and they said my order was ready before I had even arrived, but when I got there... they had no idea that there was even an order made. On top of that, the only other person in the restaurant arrived, ordered,and left in the time it took for me to get my order, and even then I could hear they were having some problem with their order. It has been advertised (at least I thought) that the chicken sandwich was made to order boy, was I wrong not only at this... location they give you a cold greasy sandwich but at this location at night they are currently collecting for a KFC Charitywhich I opted out of to discover they are charging your card for the $1 fee weather you like it or not which is robbery- BEAWARE DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK,and I will be posting my experience on all social media as well as I filled out the survey andstill has not heard from the company ???? The chicken was dried out, and the gravy was old! I will never spend a dime at this place again, and they should be ashamed of... serving this type of food! I would have taken it back, but my daughter picked it up for me, and she left. I should had read thepast reviews about this restaurant first! Read more
Took my annual trip to my nearest KFC, unfortunately it's this one. I took notes during my visit this time just so I could... evaluate it fairly. 6:00 Arrive in drive through line. Only one car ahead of us at the speaker. Good sign... or so Ithought. 6:05 Car in front of us leaves without ordering. Not good. Pull up to speaker. No signs of life from inside. 6:08After several confused "hello"s we get a curt reply - "give me a minute". Our first and last contact with those within. 6:15After no further contact from inside we cut our losses and leave. This trip I was actually taking notes on the times involvedbecause this has been my standard experience with this KFC. I swore never to go back a few years ago after they forgot my order- literally had me park in one of the waiting spots, said they would run my order out, when I go inside to check on the progressafter 20 minutes they told me they forgot I was there. But every once in a while I foolishly think to myself "KFC, that soundsgood" and pull in here, embodying the definition of insanity by imagining my experience will be different. If you experiencesimilar service here don't assume this is related to pandemic labor shortages or supply chain issues - this store has operatedthis way since I've moved here in 2015, and will likely be disappointing customers long after I'm gone.
