We, my 5 yr old and I visited oak harbor jack in the box only because it was close. After my grandson ate his cheeseburger, he... in formed me that THIS is now his favorite place to eat. For me it is about customer service the young man who took the orderwent above and beyond the norm and was patient with my grandson while he was ordering, this young man (Tim Powers) should becommended as well as promoted. I had to give 1 star just so I could leave my review otherwise it would be 0. I am an out of town tourist driving an RV that... will not fit thru the drive thru. When I asked in several ways on how to place an order the only response given to me was "Thelobby is closed". I am sure there was a way to help a customer instead of being so rude and refuse service. Adjust your expectations: this store is often out of some items. But the food is always piping hot and the staff is super... friendly. They get through the drive thru line super fast, too. Plus, giant egg rolls. Read more
Only eat here if your starving to death. Even then, the tacos are inedible. Your best bet not to get food poisoning is the... chicken strips. The staff arguing about not getting any time off was added entertainment while we waited for our food and thereason for the 2 star rating. Read more
The chicken fingers were freshly cooked but it was as if they were fried at the wrong temp. So hard, it was hard to eat them and... the inside of the fingers didn't fall apart easily like chicken should. Maybe it was just a bad batch. Read more
Our Oak Harbor Jack in the box is one of a kind. Of course when it gets busy during the late hours..really busy ...you're gonna... wait for that juicy burger but it's really worth the wait I mean when you get up to the ordering menu you're always greeted witha nice and friendly welcoming voice...you can see that the crew is working with minimal staffing but they're working togetherthat they have fun with what they do...serving us. I know this because night after night I witness it. One of the better fast food joints in town. Food is better quality and is more often than not freshly made.
