Meh I go once in a while at subways and most of the times I regret it

This used to be my favorite Subway, but no longer. My Mother went to pick up some breakfast sandwiches and I was to place the... order. I neglected to process the complete order and my mother (who is 75 and not technology friendly) only knew that I wasplacing the order, she showed them and she said they rudely responded they had no order. I looked at the order and completedit. This happened during their lunch time, I assume based on the amount of people I was advised were present. She wasn'tfeeling well on this day, it was hot, and she had just left the doctors' office. So, she may have appeared disoriented, she isvery much in her right mind. She decided she wanted chips and a drink, stood at the counter to pay for them and they saw herstanding there, but didn't ring her up. So she assumed they were letting her have the items as a courtesy for the wait. Infront of all those people, they said "ma'am, you have have to pay for the chips and that drink". Why do you suppose theythought she was standing at the counter? ???? She was very frustrated, as I would have been too, especially if someoneembarrassed me in front of a group of people, so she made some remarks, no cursing, but to show her frustration. So, I reachout to customer service, ask for a response from the franchisee. His response is he talked to his people and they "said" theywere trying to "help"... I guess he didn't realize that's the response he would receive. ???? They have cameras, you think hewatched them? Most likely not. There aren't many reasonably priced fresh food eateries in the area, so this Subway gets most ofthe lunch traffic, but isn't horribly busy beyond that. Do yourself a favor and hit the Subway on Chincoteague and enjoy thebeautiful view! Read more
Staff is extremely rude. I wasn?t welcomed and felt like a bother. They didn?t start my online order until I arrived. I?ll go to... the chincoteague location instead. Read more
It's a Subway shop. Service and sandwich construction depends on the individual behind the counter. Most do very well, but the... new hires - and there are a lot of them there all the time - don't necessarily do it right. How bad can it be? Just speak up andtell them what you want. Read more
This Subway has always been hit and miss over the past 10-11 years I have gone there. One day you will go and the service and... food will be great and then the next everything is awful. Last week I ordered a sub and a salad, everything was fine and thecustomer service was great. Today I ordered a salad and it literally had less than 1 cup of lettuce on it... the same amountthey put on a sub... yet I paid extra for a salad and it was dripping with dressing but normally that is put on the side. Myco-worker ordered a sub and there was so much sauce on it, it oozed down the sides and made the bread soggy and clearly mypresence in the restaurant was a bother. The fine folks at this Subway have a sign on the door that states, ?wearing a face covering is requested?. What they mean is... ?REQUIRED? even though the CDC and state officials say it isn?t required if one is vaccinated. I guess they know best. I won?tbe back. It?s a shame too, there aren?t many restaurants in the area any more. Read more
