We stopped for lunch for the first time at this family friendly restaurant Sunday. The staff in this family owned restaurant... were exceptional. I never had to ask for my coffee to be refreshed, or more water. What a refreshing experience, all of thestaff were helpful and customer focused.\n\nThe food. Having grown up working in a mom and pop restaurant. I know it?s best totry the classics to evaluate the meals they serve.\n\nHomemade Tomato and macaroni soup, it should have been labeled asVegetable Beef Tomato soup worthy of the acronym VBT. Outstanding.\n\nSandwiches and fries were high quality worth every penny. The patty melt took me back forty-five years, not a Perkins sandwich.\n\nThe salads were high quality and high value. Theyeven roasted the almonds in my wife?s ?high lien salad?.\n\nThe deserts. Let say Oompah Oompah Oompah yes three Oompah?s. Theyhave a fresh baked display case that is just mouth watering. They served a flaming dessert that filled the restaurant with aheavenly fragrance of love. Read more

Not much has changed inside in the past 20 years. New owners now and they have a very big menu. We like to go for breakfast on... occasion. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Read more

Walked in and didn\'t know whether to seat myself or wait. An older gentleman finally came and plopped me in the nearest booth.... Waitress was very short-tempered. The people across from me got their food with ingredients that weren\'t listed on the menuapparently and asked to have them remade. That didn\'t go over well. The website and door both said they were open until 3, butsomeone came in at 2:00 and the waitress said they close at 2 on Mondays and didn\'t even offer to-go food. My food was fine, and I probably would have ordered dessert, but the waitress dropped my check on the table and didn\'t ask. I chose thisrestaurant based on reviews and wanted to support a small business that had Monday hours, but perhaps they should consider beingclosed on Mondays as well. Read more

I had a gyro omelet with feta, American fries, toast and a short stack of pancakes. The portions are very good, I probably... could?ve skipped the short stack, but it was my only meal if the day ;-) Everything was excellent.\n\nMy wife had a gyro and waspleased with her meal. Our friend had the Athenian pork chops and loved the meal.\n\nMy wife also had cream of chicken rice soupand loved it. Our friend had the soup of the day, I forget what it was called, but he loved it so much that he bought a pint totake home.\n\nThe staff is amazing, the food was great and the prices are very reasonable. Their menu has many options. I willdefinitely be back often. Read more
