The food here is incredible and the ambiance is so cozy! We came without a reservation and they were able to fit us in an hour... later. We got the seared brussel sprouts, salmon wellington, vegan spring pot pie, and vegan chocolate cake and it was allincredible! They have amazing vegan options, such as a vegan shepards pie. The salmon was so juicy and flavorful, the pastry wasflaky, the spring pot pie impressed my decidedly non vegan friend, and the chocolate cake was incredible. Flavors here are great with a lot of unique items. Bloody Mary was best I've ever tasted and the bar menu is enticing.... Comfortable space/seating and very friendly and super well-managed spot in a difficult time for the industry. Def makereservations. Read more

Be aware that this restaurant is all about their profit. Let me start by saying the food is very good. However, the menu is very... limited, so picky eaters beware. They take your credit card and will happily charge you $15 per person, no matter the reason, ifyou need to cancel. We had a party of four adults and three children. Before we were seated, one of our children became ill. Wetold Alex, who may be the owner. With the pandemic still around, we wanted to be very clear. He couldn’t care less. He statedif we cancelled, he would charge us $105 because he would be losing out on “a few hundred dollars”. I told him if my childgets sick, I had given him fair warning. He said that was fine. Perhaps those with a compromised immune system should stay away.We ended up having to order bread for the children and a couple of appetizers for the adults. While walking out, a party ofseven walked up asking if a table was available. Right in front us, Alex responded that he actually could because our party wasdidn’t have desserts or order a lot food. Great meal! The place is small and very busy. I felt very bad for Alex the host! There were many Karens trying to use their... privilege and asking for a table without a reservation even after he told them there were none. Two women even asked if he couldask people sitting at the bar to get up early to accommodate them! Very poor taste and Karens being Karen. Aside from that foodwas great. Our waitress got one item of our order wrong but we were accommodated with a free dessert so it all worked out. Alsomixed drinks were made strong so a plus! Salmon Wellington excellent and beet and goat cheese stack great and the shishitopeppers were roasted to perfection. Strawberry shortcake so good with the homemade biscuit! All together a great meal. I had an incredible dinner at the Pawnee House! Everyone was super friendly and the food was fantastic. This was the best... restaurant I visited during my 5 day vacation on the Vineyard. Definitely try the chicken pot pie, it was very delicious. Ican't wait to come back! Read more
Wowowowo! Such a good meal and worth the wait. To say this restauraunt wasn’t having their little personal issues I would be... lying. But we enjoyed celebrating a birthday. We had laughs, lots of drinks and a great bday. We ordered many things. The menall got the chicken pot pie. The ladies all got the vegetarian flat bread. We got meatball trio, goat cheese beet platter, andthe Gruyere tart for apps. Will come back again, will reccomend to a friend. Our host and waiter were amazing. Thanks! Read more
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Dined here tonight for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. We were... greeted by the nicest staff and felt so well taken care of for our entire meal. A friend and I were celebrating our sobrietytogether - 100 days for me and 3 years for her - and the staff congratulated us and even gave us free dessert on the house! Ourserver Maggie was so sweet and kind. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Delicious food, friendly staff and sucha cute cozy vibe.
