I would say this used to be my favorite lunch. I bring it home for dinner once every month and a half or so now. The last time i... did an online order. When i got there, there was only 3 others waiting. Pickup was at 620, i got there 630 so i walked up to theregister and the lady pretty rudely said "we will call your name when your food is ready". Not wanting to be a pin, i waited.645, i still see the 2 sandwiches sitting on the counter behind them. I go up again and the girl working the counter walks away,says "ill be with you in a minute" and goes to the other girl and keeps talking. I ordered 2 subs via UberEATS, called to confirm I did NOT want cheese on them so they wouldn't make the error, got nasty... attitude from guy over the phone. Received the order and it only had 1 sandwich. Assistant manager Jean on phone says to pick upsub but I tell him I have COVID and cant make it there. He assures me it'll be available whenever I get a chance along with"extras". Hours later, after I call and inform my wife is enroute, when she gets there, they have no idea what she is talkingabout. Then apparently Jean shows up and handles it. My wife gets it and not even an extra fry for the inconvenience. Not tomention their attitude to my wife was unacceptable as if it was our fault they didn't pack our food in the first place. Guess Iwon't be buying here again. Read more
Miserable and slow. My sandwich came instead of cold like ordered. No toppings. A single piece of bacon. Absolutely... pathetic. There are no redeeming qualities about this place. I will never return. Read more
Fries were little salty but pizza sandwich was superb. Next time I go there, I'll only order sandwich and drink.
Very polite staff, especially Evelyn, even when they are slammed they treat the customers respectfully and get orders out... efficiently. Many places are short staffed and overwhelmed right now but despite being a very busy lunch spot they make qualitysandwiches. Read more
Bought a large Chicken Teriyaki sub for $14.50. Felt very light so I opened it up - there?s barely any meat - it?s 90% bread -... for $14.50!!! Lol So I ask the cook nicely, is this right? He says ?yeah, the price of everything has gone up?? I say ?wow, Ican get 3 rotisserie chickens at the grocery store for $15?? he says ?we?ll, then I suggest you do that?? so I didn?t make ahuge deal out of it but told the manager, ?hey, I don?t think your staff should be having attitude with the customers ? not goodfor business?. On the door there?s a big sign that says ?be kind to our staff because it?s hard to get them and they work hard?on and on? and that?s cool but I?ve never seen a store have a sign like that. Perhaps it?s an indicator something is wrong withthis store. The original managers/owners Robbie apparently aren?t there anymore and who knows what?s going on there. I used togo in this store daily and it?s completely changed. Will NEVER go here again! Can?t believe people are paying $15 for $1 worthof meat and $1 worth of carb laden bread. Lol? Fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh cut fries, and a steaming delicious sub that can't be beat! Penn Station is the best and the Novi... location has outstanding quality and customer service.
