After 6 pm so crowded this restaurant! I love this restaurant! This is the real deal. Breads crusts were very hard. We ordered two pastas - linguine pasta with pan roasted chicken in Alfredo sauce. It was too... salty. Other one penne pasta with palomino sauce with mushrooms which was fine. Best was the hot fudge brownie with ice cream.We loved the brownie. I will go here only for the brownie not for meal. I visited this restaurant for the first time while in town on business. Our table of six was exquisitely served by Tonya, our... experienced and fun server. She gave great advice on navigating our choices, and the food was incredible. We already have plansto return to Novi a year from now, and we'll visit again! Stopped here for dinner..this is what Italian is at its finest!!!!! Home made homemade flavor town. To be blunt?their is no... reason to ever goto Olive Garden, buca whatever, or any franchise Italian when u have Maisanos. This is flavor town and localfamily owned restaurant. They make all their own food from scratch?no microwave dinner here unlike (Olive Garden). They serveCantori?s bread yum! they make their own Italian dressing?get more and sop up with the amazing bread! As for the meal we had3 and all were excellent and full of flavor! If you want the real deal this is the place to go! Service was great waiterdescribed every meal in detail he explained his family heritage with this and other Italian restaurants in the area. Enjoyed this restaurant for the first time with the inlaws we enjoyed the food. Staff all very friendly. Fast efficient.
We have been coming here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed in our meals. It is small inside and cozy but you... don?t feel crowded and the tall booths make for a romantic dinner. The guests we have brought with us have tried many wonderfuldishes but I cannot make myself order anything but the Tenderloin Tips Gnocchi. It is sinfully delicious. We would like to say thanks to Maisano's for being open later than most restaurants last night on our way home from a concert.... We were starving a very greatful to have discovered this delightful place. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the smell of roastedgarlic and sauce in the air. Our booth offered privacy with a nice ambiance that only enhanced the delectable meal that was soonto be served. Let me start with the appetizers. The calamari was so buttery and delicious.. Probably the best I've had as was myhusband's meatballs that may have topped his Sicilian grandmother's recipe. I ordered beef tips but asked to have asubstitution of pasta with mushrooms. I told them to surprise me... AMAZING. Th chef couldn't have chose a better combinationfor my pasta accompaniment. The garlic along with a hint of balsamic and olive oil could only enhance the roasted tomatoes andsautéed spinach plated along the beef tips. It was truly an incredible meal. We are totally willing to the drive two hours just to eat at Maisano's again. We were so greatful to find a business that took such pride in every detail to make our diningexperience unforgettable!
