This was just one of the best sandwiches I've had. I get the French dip is very good. The bread is baked fresh within the hour, ... service is friendly and atmosphere is excellent. I would recommend this if you like fresh made sandwiches they also make soupsand salads which I have not tried yet. Read more

Got a southern salad, the avocado was rotten, and the was undercooked. Salads are not good, sandwiches are much better.

Sandwiches are small because they are in baguettes not an sandwich roll. I ordered on line was given a time. I arrived at that... time order was not ready. People ordering at the register got their order before mine was ready. Slow service. Not friendly. Noteven a sorry for the wait. Michael's sourdough minutes away better value and better food. Delish! If you are in the mood for a good sando then this is your spot. The sourdough bread is good and fresh and they have all... the toppings and options that you would want in a sandwich. They have their signature sauce which seems like a mix ofHorseradish and mayo of some kind. It is a nice touch. I always add peppercini's on mine as well. They also try to get you inand out as fast as they can but since it is popular you might be waiting for a bit. My only gripes are that the soups can bebland and you will be paying a premium price but at the same time this is a fresher option than say, subway. However (at thenovato location) Nugget is just down the street and is pretty much the same price for a much more premium sandwich. Justsomething to think about. In closing, it is good and I do come here for lunch for my family and everyone seems happy with theoutcome. If you do stop by, try the Turkey & Pastrami. Read more

Came here once an got a really good pastrami sandwich. I like that it's open later than any other deli so I can grab a late... afternoon/evening snack but the other day I checked the time on line an it said Friday and Saturday they're open til 8pm. Iplanned my day of shopping on a Friday to include making my last stop here to grab that pastrami sandwich I been craving an whenI showed up at 6:55 pm as soon as I walked in they just said "We're Closed". The employees were already in a hurry to clock out. It's bad enough online it says they close at 8pm but even if it changed to 7pm an someone forgot to update the time online Istill walked through the door 5 minutes before 7 !!! I understand the employees are young an I'm sure cant wait to clock out ona Friday but I ended up having to settle for an inn N out burger I didn't even want!!!!! Read more

This is a typical sandwich shop with counter service, making mostly cold cut sandwiches and a daily soup... except for the warm... fresh sourdough buns they are served on. Wow, so good, and yet a solid showing of meat on the inside. Was just stopping on aroad trip, but I made a point to return on the way home. Read more

Great concept, place was clean and attractive. Appreciate the size options (4?, 6?, 8?). Service was quick and the staff... friendly although fortunately I noticed the au jus missing from the French Dip before we left the parking lot. Overall flavorwas good but not nearly enough filling for the bread. A 4? turkey/pastrami had a mere 1-3/4 oz of meat which may had workedbetter with more lettuce and tomato. Several other places in Marin offer a better value. Read more
