It looks like they spent a lot of money on the design of the building and pulled their menu out of a trash can. This was... literally the worst "pulled pork" I have ever had. I don't even feel right calling it that. First, it wasn't enough for anactual sandwich. Second, it was SOOOOOOO tough and dry. I'm cool with some bark in my sandwich, it's great. But this was likethey took the pulled pork, put it in a pan on high heat and left it to burn for 10 minutes. I only wish we ate at the restaurantso I could've gave it back. Trying Wayward is not something we would forget, it was wonderful. Our adult beverages were tasty as well as the food. We... started out with pork belly macaroni fries - not as heavy as it sounds. Light tasting, crispy, and sweet. For my meal, I got theplatter with brisket & ribs. Sides were fries and cucumber salad. Yum! Server was super friendly and responsive. Drinks neverran dry. Nice spot with a good variety of menu items. Service was very good. The drinks were good and strong. Everything that I ordered... was good EXCEPT the Smokehouse Corn (I think that's what it's called). I really did not care for it. But the Shrimp appitezerwas amazing! I was visiting my mom from SC and she took me to this restaurant “her favorite spot”. She was not wrong because this is now... my favorite restaurant in Baltimore too. We share the home made fried pickles and bufalo garlic wings, they were delicious ????.I had the BBQ salad, mom had the korean pork belly bites and the Mac & cheese. OMG the mac & cheese!!!. Everything was amazing,the restaurant is big and beautiful and the service was top notch. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. Read more

Atmosphere was nice and peaceful, went during the day so didn't have the weekend crowdedness. Waiter was pleasant and easily... able to answer any questions and accommodate about orders. Ordered: Buffalo Mac & Cheese: Amazing Fried Pickles: Very good justneeded more breading. Surf & Turf: Excellent, be sure to stir up all the way before eating. Blackened Chicken Pasta: Good eventhough it wasn't what I expected at all. Very light/healthy choice. Almost no sauce, so if you like a lot of sauce like I do,make sure to request it during initial order. Even with the little amount of sauce it was still good. Would definitely return. Read more
Good ambiance but mediocre food and really lackluster service. The ambiance gave a good first impression of rustic grandeur, but... the food and service did not follow suit. Our waiter was almost nonexistent, leaving us for long period of time with emptydrinks or plates. Orders were forgotten and the waiter needed to be repeatedly reminded. In terms of the food, some wascertainly better than others. The brussels were flavorful, but were basically swimming in honey mustard. The fried pickles werepretty solid, but the rind was surprisingly chewy. The nachos were severely lacking in toppings. The Mac and cheese was awinner, as was the brisket.
