Reviews for Strawberry Fair Restaurant in Norwell, MA
We just happened upon this place on our way to Worlds End park and it looked so cute that my wife suggested we pull in. It is a... house from the 1800's that they made into a breakfast and lunch restaurant. Let's just say this was more than just a great meal,it was an experience! The atmosphere is really beautiful and homey. We felt like we were on vacation in a bed and breakfast. Iordered the Autumn Sandwhich and my wife ordered the Beef Stew which came with homemade griled corn bread and strawberrypreserves it was all excellent. The waitress was super friendly, she even took us on a tour of the place after we finishedeating. It was decorated for the fall season and it was a joy to walk through. There is even a little patio around back if youwant to eat outside. Parking is tight so if you have a very large vehicle you may have a little bit of challenge if it's busy.Don't let that deter you though, this place is 5 stars all the way. This is about 30 minutes from our home but we will be backand likely many times! Great job Strawberry Fair, thank you for a wonderful experience. Read more
First time there. Cozy little place, waitress was very friendly. Food was good, but like everything else expensive. Not their... fault, it?s economy. I would definitely recommend. Read more
First time here, sunday morning expected a wait, but we waited nearly 30 minutes just to get water & order food. (we?re sitting... outside in 90 degree heat) I got french toast which was okay but def not worth $12. neither was my $5 side of 3 pieces of paperthin bacon. everything is very overpriced, parking is a nightmare if you don?t drive a prius and you spend more time waitingaround than anything else. don?t think I would try this one again Read more
It's a rather small but still inviting place. I had the crem brulee french toast and it was delicious!!! It was a very pleasant... atmosphere. We chose to sit outside everything was great although I wish the staff would have taken our order sooner. I think wewaited about 30 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we ordered and it wasn't terribly busy when we were there. However, all in all it was a great experience and the food was delicious and I recommend getting a jar of strawberry jam. I absolutely LOVE the waffles with the strawberries and whipped cream! It?s my favorite item on the menu and the one I order... most. My mom died 3 years ago. She would take me here after school sometimes as a special treat starting when I was a freshmanin high school. That?s some 20 years now. So I have such happy memories coming here with mom. And I love that the decor andatmosphere has not changed one bit in those twenty years. It?s a great family restaurant with wonderful and friendly servingsstaff. It may look small on the outside but it?s large on the inside with an outside eating patio area. And they have a littlestore as well with just the cutest things. I swear, I would buy everything if I could!! Read more
