We eat here whenever we are in Norway. Seriously good Italian food, fast and kind service, lovely outdoor seating, good... wine/local beer. Do NOT miss eating at one of the best places in western Maine. Read more

A solid 3.5 stars, but closer to 4 than 3. We read about Dolce Amici via Down East Magazine. They did a lovely feature on this... new bistro back in April 2022, so when we found ourselves on a hike around Norway, we decided to try them out for lunch. Firstof all, I love the concept. They have a full alcohol bar, gelato station, brunch menu, and another regular menu. They also haveplenty of outdoor seating in the summer (although only two small tables in the Fall) and -- of course -- indoor seating as well.We really liked the vibe outside so we sat there for our brunch. Service was a bit slow, but they seemed to have been very busywhen we ordered. No biggie, as our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. We found the brunch menu extensive but were a bitdisappointed at the fact that they were out of about half of the items on the menu. They had about 4-5 types of crepes but werevery limited on paninis/sandwiches and other egg-based dishes, which we were sorta expecting given the time of the day. Weordered the blueberry + ricotta crepe for $12 and the Margherita panini (which came with a side salad) for $10. They were bothREALLY delicious and priced fairly given the portion + how yummy everything was. I also ordered an espresso martini which, unfortunately, wasn't as good as the rest of the food. All in all, I would definitely return and try Dolce Amici again! Thegelato looked amazing, so I definitely have to come back for that. Read more

Stopped by as we passed through the town. There are so many good selections on the menu to try. Service was a bit slow but we... still had a good experience overall. Read more

The gelato was great, the food was fantastic, and we all loved the atmosphere and the waitresses. Everyone was so nice,... attentive, and displayed excellent communication skills among restaurant goers. They have a small food menu, but we were allable to find something that we liked. Gelato and drinks were a little expensive but worth it. Read more

I'm ashamed to say that this is my first time eating food, besides gelato, at Dolce Amici. The entire aesthetic when walking in... the front door is transformative. The outdoor space is charming and transports you to Southeastern Europe with their attentionto detail and decorative themes. Every morsel of food was exquisite, quality prepared, and absolutely delicious. Woulddefinitely recommend and we will be back. Read more
