I have been coming here since I was a child I?m now 37. The food is always good here and I take my children and wife here as... much as possible. I went in last night with my family and spent about $50 which is fine on two kids cheese quesadillas, oneshrimp burrito and a chicken quesadilla for myself. Now everything was going great until we realized they gave me 1 sour creamfor the entire table. The issue is e every meal came with chips so 1 for a table of 4 simply wasn?t enough. I went up theregister and asked for another tiny cup of sour cream which prob literally costs fifty cents maybe. The girl behind theregister was basically half asleep while working and said ? sorry can?t give you another one you, you only got one meal thatincludes it?. No lady, I spent $50 and bought 4 meals and I?ve never had this issue before and everyone has chips at the table and I?ve spend thousand and I mean thousand here over the years are we really talking about sour cream? Luckily.. a nicegentleman took over and handed it to me and all the guys in the kitchen were fantastic like always. I?nmy Opinion the girl atthe register doesn?t know the customer service Industry at all and has no business even making the decision to begin with. Ifshe?s tired, which it seemed like, and wanted to be lazy, and not deal with it,which it seemed like, maybe that just wasn?ther day to be at work? I dunno if it was me I would have said no Problem. I work in the customer service industry and I can?tfathom how she could tell someone ?no? for a plastic 3 inch by 3inch extra sour cream. I would never tell a paying client nounless it was some crazy request and this wasn?t. Food was great as always but that left a bad taste in my mouth and if she?sgoing to be the face of the company who people see and interact with firs , she needs to be re trained it at least refreshed onhow To handle things. I?ve been a customer for years. The Norwalk (CT Avenue location). The food is consistently good and comes out quickly. The... Sierra Salad and Burritos are fresh and very good! In my opinion, a better alternative to the big box chain, Chipotle! Therestaurant hasn?t had a makeover in years?maybe a decade or more, and is due. However, I can certainly understand that with allthat the economy has done to small business that this is probably not a priority. I?m glad they survived the pandemic and arestill in business! I moved out of state and Sierra is one of thing things I miss most about home. Gilbert the manager knows me by face and name and... the restaurant and kitchen are always pristine when he?s there. I usually only see Gilbert as the manager, which is why I?mattesting to when he?s there. Read more

Overall great place, but here are a few points. The food is fresh, fast, convenient and good! If you like guacamole, some orders... come with a small guacamole included. *Note, the small guacamole that comes with a particular meal is NOT a big size (hence theword "small") as it comes in a small to go ramekin (not a problem at all for my wife and I). I mention this because recently wewitnessed a woman arguing with employees that she "expected" a big guacamole with her meal rather than the small one. Wewitnessed the polite and calm staff (that was working that day) inform the woman multiple times that the small came with herorder and that the large is for purchase (which I believe is around 2 dollars). Some staff are a little "stand-offish" andpassive which I don't like, but you can overlook this for the simple fact that you're there for a short period of time to eatand leave. Though things like employees attitudes and treatment towards patrons are part of the customer experience, someexperiences and first impressions don't go initially unnoticed and are hard to ignore when it's blatant. In any case, simplyeat, enjoy your time there with whomever your with or riding solo, ignore them unless you need something specific andleave. Lastly, my wife and I love two facts: 1) that you can pick you own toppings for assorted salsas, jalapeños, onions &cilantro (relish), etc. and 2) that the kitchen/grill/prep area are open so you can see everything going on behind the counter.I've worked in restaurants in the past and just have a different personal perspective about open kitchens that I really like andappreciate. Sour Cream and extra cheese can probably be asked for (possibly for a fee), but we never do that as we're alwayssatisfied with our meals and never had an issues. An okay place to get a Mexican food fix. Read more

Food has no spicing really. Chicken felt dry, and beans were from a can. My burrito falls apart after 3 bites. Staff is also not... that polite. Salsa is fresh though! Read more

We used to come here for quick meals many years ago when we lived in Rowayton. After we moved away, we haven't been back till... yesterday. The place looked the same, still clean and food was fresh, price was still reasonable. I got a platter, some rice wasnot cooked through, the beef was lukewarm towards cold. But I hope it was an one off, will revisit again. The food is tasty, andI think it is healthier than fast food. Read more
