Reviews for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Norwalk, CT
I had fried chicken thigh and leg from this place few days ago. I am still recovering from food poisoning, from undercooked... chicken. Also they maybe using old-oil frying their chickens because the smell wasn't fresh and the color of the chickens weredark brownish. Read more
So I go in on my lunch break no one is at the register. Someone finally comes I ordered a big box. My sides were Mac & cheese... and fries. Fries weren't ready so I ask for an extra Mac & cheese I was told that would be an extra .50 I said why can't I getan extra Mac if the fries aren't ready im on my break and didn't have a lot of time? She then says I can have any other side forfree except the MA and cheese...what?? What kind of sense does that make. Managers out there wouldn't you just make the customerhappy? Im saying what's so special about the Mac and cheese? Smh Read more
Choosing a certain location of a fast food chain is always risky. In today's effed up world suppliers don't supply, workers... don't work and corporate just keeps raising their prices expecting consumers to pay more and receive Less. Popeyes of Norwalkon Connecticut Ave. has the best team. Outstanding service. Lorenzo makes a trip to POPEYES a GREAT EXPERIENCE. Accurate, fast, made to order and outstanding quality control. His attentiveness and his professionalism makes me wonder if he should be workingin a 5 star Michelin restaurant. More employees like Lorenzo would bring better reviews and an increase in sales. No doubt. Read more

Urgh! My fellow marsupial and Me were ready to chow down on a tasty 2 can Dine Meal! The Popeye's app said, with this deal, we... should get 5 pieces of delicious fried chicken, two regular sides, and two biscuits. Once we got down under, it was a differentstory! 4 pieces of chicken, no tasty included. Only 2/4 sides were available for our choice, and the biscuits had been bakingunder the barbie for a bit too long. Ah well, I hope next visit will deliver MORE on the deal and LESS on the steal. Keep at itmates! Read more
After KFC near Walmart closed, I started going to Popeyes occasionally to get my cat a drumstick (don?t judge me). I went there... tonight and got myself a sandwich. Despite being the only car at the drive through, the cashier asked me to pull over and park.I don?t know why since he brought out a dried-out piece of chicken on a burned, partly ripped bun two minutes later. You couldbe forgiven for assuming this is due to labor shortage, but this is exactly the level of quality and service I experienced thelast time I went there in late 2019. Go to Miss Barbara Jean?s Soul Food Kitchen instead. Read more
I visited the Popeye's restaurant in Norwalk CT. The restaurant was very clean. It was later at night, but not too late, about... 7:30pm. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a five piece spicy chicken tenders combo meal. It came with a biscuit and mashedpotatoes. The chicken fingers were very good. The biscuit was also delicious because it was soaked in butter. The mashedpotatoes were eh. Not the best and not the worst by any means. I'd rate them a 6 out of ten. The chicken fingers were excellent.Even though they were the spicy ones they were not overwhelmingly spicy and had just enough kick in my opinion. The only issue Ihad was that it took about 10 minutes waiting for my chicken fingers because they were out of them and I had to wait for more tobe made. I found this odd because it wasn't very late and it seems like that would be a common item so they should have had themready to go as it's not a made to order style restaurant. The chicken sandwich was ready immediately so I ended up eating thatfirst while waiting on my chicken fingers combo. The sandwich was definitely good but does it deserve all the hype it receivedin the media....I think not. It was good but not write home or stab someone in line over the last one (like happened multipletimes) good. Over all I enjoyed the meal and would definitely eat there again. I should note this was my first time ever eatingat Popeye's restaurant. While not the servers fault for the chicken fingers not being ready he was extremely polite andappolgized multiple times for the amount of time it took so I give him credit for that. He was very professional and good at hisjob. He kept checking on multiple orders and was on top of everything. I give credit where credit is due and he deserved it. Soyes I would eat there again but was it deserving of all the hype the media gave it....no. Not in my opinion. Read more
Wait time at drive threw at 3 pm was 27 minutes, we didn't order anything yet at the intercom just ridiculous. Finally get to... order get up to the window and had to wait additional 9 more minutes. Watching threw the drive threw window the employees arebumping into each other no structured organization handing out other orders to customers waiting inside.... Just close it downthey have issues every time I go I stopped going I personally hate the unorganized crew, the drive threw which should be quickservice The order was not for me it was for my passengers ,and the final straw for me the chicken that they ordered was alllarge breast and thigh pieces not the mixed pieces that was ordered or advertised. Just do us the favor don't open anymore getthe employee organisation in order first. Take example from KFC get the organization and drive threw in order cut the price downsome, your 8 piece price is KFC 12 piece price sooo I get more for my money there... you will get more customers in and out ifyou did some changes.
