Waited quite a bit for our server (she was very friendly) and for food/drinks. They had a party in the other room and looks like... they were hustling but they kind of ignored everything else going on. I believe there was a manager but she just spent the 2hours we were there on her phone or sweeping under the same table. Food was good and hot. Read more

All of our food came out hot and huge portions. The chicken was so hot it was almost too hard to eat. The service was great.... The place easily seated our party of 7 at dinner time. It was a great experience! Read more

My sister ands I decided to try Village Inn for dinner tonight. Oct 29,2020. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The chicken... was hot and good. The fries and hot sauce were cold. My sister was supposed to get a back (in which is one of her favoritepieces) and was brought a bucket instead. When she inquired as to why she was told they were out of backs. My sister asked ifthey can put whatever they want on my plate without asking the customer. The waitress said that is how they do it. But if shewanted a back she could wait 15 mins for them to put them down and my sister said yes. Which means they weren't out of backs, they just weren't cooked yet. The waitress brought new hot fries and fresh once again cold hot sauce. We have no plans torevisit. Not the waitresses fault. We still tipped her well. Read more

Thank You to all who were working on Monday, Columbus Day, for preparing a delicious take out dinner, for my family, that live... out of town to enjoy. They grew up eating Village Inn and now their child is experiencing it. Many memories of familygatherings throughout the years at this location. Read more

It was getting late in the day and this was one of the only places open . I had the shrimp , it was very good . My husband had... chicken. Not so good . The pieces , 4 thighs and a breast , were SO tiny ! Also the breading was like concrete ! Too thick andvery hard and dry . They have no soup and no desserts . The hot sauce was pretty much just sauce , hardly any rice . The Coleslaw is terrible . We won't be going back . Read more

Usually I enjoy the Village Inn but when we went last night (7-23-22) it was a terrible experience. First off my girlfriend... ordered the 5 piece mixed with French fries, I ordered the 2 piece Cod dinner. We ordered it for take out. When we got home mygirlfriend only had 4 pieces of chicken and they forgot her fries. She said the chicken wasn?t as good as usual. My Cod dinnerconsisted of two tiny pieces of fish that was over cooked and tasted horrible. The hot rice tasted like tomato soup with rice init. After last night I?ll never go back again. Read more

Second time trying the Village Inn on 6/9 & never going back. This is the disgusting chicken we were served. No taste, no... flavor, greasy, not much meat. The breading was too thick & no flavor. I pulled it apart so you can see that it doesn't lookright. The back had zero meat. I can't believe a Barberton chicken house would serve this mess. I'd give zero stars if possible. Read more

Came here with family because it's tradition to get Barberton Chicken when in the area. Came here because the place we used to... go to has gone down hill and was told this place was better. It is, the other place only got a 1 star. Let's start with thebuilding. It doesn't look like a restaurant. It looks like an old car showroom. Walking in it felt abandoned (lunch time on aSaturday). The main dining room was mostly empty. The decor makes it look like a cafeteria at an old people's home. Theclientele was mainly older people, and they seemed to be liking the food. I ordered the 4 piece dark meal. The photo belowshows how it came. I don't care if my food is "touching" but having everything piled on one plate wasn't great. I'd prefer ifthe "sides" came as, well, sides! The Hot Rice was fine and the fries were good. The coleslaw tasted mainly of vinegar and wasrather dry. The chicken was ok, but a little dry. Certainly nothing special. The one thing going for this place was the amountof food you get for the price. I had more food than I could eat for around $11. This is probably why there were so many oldpeople eating there...who cares about taste and presentation when you get so much for so little. I know I won't be back. Read more
