We went during lunch and ate in. It was quite and comfortable because there wasn't a lot of people there at the time we went. We... had open seating and quick but thorough service. We enjoyed the lunch specials which was a nice sized portion about half thesize of the dinner portion, perfect for lunch. All in all we had a great lunch during lunch hours and a nice lunch. Gave this place a try for the first time. We love Persian food. We were welcomed by the owner (at least I think he was) who... made some wonderful suggestions for us. I'm a vegetarian and he offered so many options, it was hard to choose. Everythingthat came was delicious, hot, authentic and looked as good as it tasted. I had the vegetarian fesenjoon, on top of tahdig,vegetarian tas kebab, and Adas polo. Everything was sooo good. Service was impeccable. We will definitely go back again. Read more
The food was great. Big portions were served. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I gave it 4 stars because at the end of our meal... we asked for boxes. The waiter wasn't in a good mood I guess and didn't notice that he gave me a dirty box with food and hairstock on it. I had lunch on Saturday for first time. We weren't convinced because is old, the appearance inside doesn't look too clean, but I... wanted to give it a try. Lunch special for the price was okay. The chicken was very good, but the rice was a little dry. One friend was a vegetarian and... ordered a vegetarian meal which ended up being a huge pile of rice with very few pistachios. If you aren't vegetarian you willlove the meat, the rest is average. This is one of the best Persian restaurants not just in Los Angeles, but in the USA. The food is exquisite, they have a good... beer selection, the staff are friendly and very attentive, the atmosphere is casual, a Great place for birthday celebrations andoverall family dinners.
