The food is decent but the service SUCKS!!!! It's located where the old el president used to be. It has been remodeled and... looks nice. When you enter the front door it takes a while to be asked how many in your party? The staff is so rude. Theywill literally pass by you with out asking or saying will be right with you. Once someone finally seats you. You sit for awhile, you can tell no one is charge. We finally ordered our drinks and food at the same time because we did not know when wewould be approached again. After receiving our food we ran out of drinks. We had a direct sight to where all the severs werestanding and talking. The waiters didn't even turn to look. After 15 minutes my husband had to and ask for drinks. We verydisappointed on the service. Management needs to make sure the guest are tended to and not just hanging around. Or simply getmore help! First time going since name change. Not a good 1st impression. Seated promptly but it was downhill from there. Place was fairly... busy but waiting 10 minutes for drink order has no excuse. I ordered the Super Burrito and the order was placed correctly. When I received the burrito, it was incorrect and was given a... different burrito. The manager came over and offered me a discount. I only received a 10% discount on my bill. I will definitelyNOT be going back. As for a large group, make sure you eat before going. The waitress is the manager, she gave us a water of Jamaica without any flavor. It tasted like water. Her customer service... wasn't that great, she wasn't too attentive. She said it herself and agree that the Jamaica didn't had any flavor and I askedher to take it off the bill, but still charged me for it because I didn't return it. That tells you how ambitious they are andvery poor customer service. Moreover, the food is too expensive for service they provide. For me customer service is veryimportant and if it's not appropriately provided, than it's not worth it. Read more
Great food and the price is still very affordable. They have outdoor seating as well now. It's a relaxing atmosphere and the... service is very good. One of the few Mexican restaurants where you can still get bean dip and salsa with your chips for no extracost. Read more
Really good food. We enjoyed a couple items off the lunch menu: Arroz con Pollo and Carne tamiquena. This was our first time... coming here since management/ remodel. Good staff. Used to be a prior customer with original set up and glad we stopped by. Read more
Worst restaurant ever!! Started going there when I moved to Granada hills 2 1/2 years ago and it?s gotten from BAD to WORSE!!... Went there today and waited for service, no water , no chips or salsa, or napkins or silverware. Friends had told me the servicewas mediocre but we still went cuz it was convenient but the service isn?t worth it. Look for other Mexican restaurants cuz thisplace has run its course. They just don?t care cuz they know you?ll pay for the close location. We left after 1/2 hour and wentto Black Angus, 1/2 a block away and got served within 5 minutes.
