The people and staff were completely fine, no problems there but my god that hot dog was absolutely the worst I've ever had.... I've had better 7-11 hot dogs. There was no distinct flavor to the chili, it tasted like wet bread. The only flavor came fromthe mustard and the weirdly neon green relish. It was absolutely a terrible dish. Read more
The two times I moved out of California, all I craved was this. My family has always eaten here. Five generations. Get the... original. Chili, onions and mustard. It's the best. Don't bother with anything else. I have been to every location but now thereare only two. This one is the best left. When it comes to hot dogs, this is THE place. Not sure if it's the Vienna all-beef hot dogs, the chili or what, but everything... I've eaten here is perfect. Perhaps because it's a family run business? The food quality and freshness can't be beat. Read more
My mom & I were craving a hot dog, so I went to Cupids for the first time & ordered 2 triangles, 1 w/ tomato & when I served the... one without tomato to my mom, I noticed a dark hair in it. I drive all the way to this Cupid's from Simi Valley because the one in Simi Valley has sucked for the past few years at least.... It's darker and tastes heavily seasoned and they use thick cheese shreds. The ones from here are delicious! Smooth and mildtasting chili and the dogs have that delicious snap! Been coming to Cupid's since I was a kid. Van Nuys spot is gone. Winnetka Northridge are the two that are left that are original... spots. If you want an amazing hot dog that come with chili onions mustard, this is it. I get my fix every 2 to 3 months. Read more
