It took ten minutes for someone to take our order in the drive thru. Then another 30 minutes to get our food. The manager was... actually nice about it and gave our money back, but the tenders were really even that warm. They were also fully staffed. Itshouldn't have taken that long. Very disappointed with the food and service. I love Popeye's Chicken, but will never go back to this location! The "specialty... item" of hushpuppy shrimp was awful.....the shrimp were fully, heavily breaded, but unexpectedly still have tail shells on them! Chicken... Kind of hard to mess this up, unless you specifically ask for dark meat and they throw a mixed bag of both dark and... white meat at you. Training issue? Possibly. In all honesty though, I get the feeling that the employee(s) just dont reallycare. The door has issues and it is difficult to open. Almost as if they don't want dine in customers. The dining area is acomplete mess. None of the tables were clean. Many still had garbage from previous diners on them. There were 2 employeessitting at the raised table just watching their phones and giggling instead of taking any sort of pride in their store. I ate myfood, which was ok. Not great, just ok! I walked up to the order counter to chat with anyone to find a manager and wascompletely ignored for 7 minutes before I finally decided to give up and never come back to this location. Been sitting behind ONE car in line for 10 minutes. Food is never right, they take too long to answer the intercom when you pull... up, and put the wrong condiments in the bag. Total time with (1) one vehicle in front of me, 29 minutes. Tried handing me 1/2my order and had to ask for the other 1/2. Never again! I had went into the lobby at about 645pm, I saw about 6 employees in the back and 1 in the dining room. I was waiting to place... my order but all the employees stood there and looked at me, did not acknowledged me. After standing there for a few minutes, Iwalked out and said no one is going to take my order. The employee in the dining room asked if I needed to order. I said I'm nothungry anymore. They should probably just shut this location down. Went today at 7:30 after placing an online order. Got to the window and they... tell me they don?t have and mashed potatoes and gravy ?!? I spoke to the manager and he said the district manager makes him shutdown the sides station and it was all cleaned for tmrw. How can you not have sides at 7:30pm? Ordered the 3 piece tenders with potatoes/gravy, coke to drink. He asked if I want to upsized; said no. Got to the checkout.... Over $10. Asked why,he said tax. Paid then saw they charged to upsize the drink. Then got to work to eat?bigger pieces than lasttime (they were all crunch, little meat that time). Two of the three strips were not properly cooked.
