This was my second visit to Red Bar Farm for their pizza. My first visit was in 2018, and I remember being charmed by the... idillic ambiance and impressed by the delightful wood fired pizza. I live in Minneapolis, so Northfield is a bit of a trek, butI decided to add Red Barn Farm to my fall bucket list for 2022. Reservations open the week before, and I?d recommend snagging aspot as soon as possible. Reservations for today (Sunday) opened up on Tuesday, and I claimed one right away. The reservationprocess is totally painless. My partner and I booked an 11 am spot, and we showed up promptly at 11 am. The woman who took ourorder was friendly and welcoming. We ordered two pies and were told that they were be ready in 5-10 minutes. Sure enough, twosteaming hot pies materialized within minutes, and we were grateful for the warmth on a chilly fall day. The pizzas are pricey, and range from $22-$25, but they are quite large, and each one can feed 2-3 people. We ordered 2 pizzas for 2 people, and weended up with a lot of leftovers, which was fine with us. The pizzas were so tasty. We got the Margherita and the Big Wave. TheBig Wave was our favorite, and we loved the Margherita too, but we wish it came with red sauce and not just tomatoes. That wasour only complaint though. The whole experience was lovely- friendly, efficient, and delicious! Can?t wait to come back againwhen it?s a bit warmer! Read more

Came here for pizza night. What a wonderful place this is! Surrounded by farmland, the red bard, horses and homes. The place is... gorgeous and so good for photography. I wish I'd gotten married here ???? The pizza was pretty good. The line was long and theplace was crowded with picnic-ers sitting a respectful distance from each other. We didn't try their ice cream but maybe nexttime! The wait for the pizza was 15 mins. You have to bring your own picnic blankets, utensils, napkins and you have to take allyour trash with you. Just basic rules really. Read more

Excellent! Bring a blanket and bottle of wine. Pizza is outstanding! Also, you are responsible to haul your trash with you, so... bring a trash bag for pizza boxes, etc. Read more

Atmosphere was great! Reservation system was super helpful as the wait was very short. I'd recommend asking how long the wait is... for pizza if you plan to have an appetizer or salad before eating. Tons of space (good amount of shade as well!) Great place forgroups, date night or family fun night! Overall, very clean and great place! Read more

Supremely good pizza and fun way to spend the evening as a family. Definitely a lot of kids so not the place for you if you... don?t like the little ones running around you. I?m a little biased because I love farms/ farm animal and especially chickens. But seriously pizza so so good. Read more

Lovely outdoor atmosphere with delicious pizza. We ordered the vegetarian and Margherita pizzas after a 15-20 minute wait in the... ordering line. We got our pizzas pretty quickly and found a little patch of grass for ourselves. Both pizzas were thoroughlydelicious, with roasted garlic on both that put them over the edge. I have never had that, nor as much cheese, on a Margheritapizza but I was pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were bigger than a typical personal pizza, but not big enough to split betweentwo above average eaters. So the vegetarian pizzas are likely a bit overpriced but they definitely provide a high qualityproduct. Read more

Great atmosphere for a relaxing pizza experience, make sure to bring your own plates, drinks, chairs, etc. The line was a tad... long so by the time we got our pizza we were quite hungry, service was very kind and it allowed for us to walk around the farmand see the horses. Pizza was pricey, and is something to consider if your bringing a group. Overall, enjoyed the crust, however, the toppings and sauce lacked flavor. Wood fired crust was really the best part of the pizza. Would recommend checkingit out for yourself! Read more
