Bummer. We were hungry and this looked like a good place. We got lattes, scones, a yogurt parfait and a small cinnamon bun. ... The yogurt was watery and not much for $9. But the scones were so dry we used up our lattes trying to swallow them. They weretasteless from overcooking and, if this wasn't the only place in town open, we would have just thrown them away. The young guywe ordered from first got our latte wrong, then forgot to give us the scones, and then forgot to give us the cinnamon bun. Ifit were just a staff issue I'd try it again but the willingness to sell overcooked food at a premium is too much. Read more

Misleading and overpriced. My family and I went on a Saturday lunch and were surprised at how quiet it was, we soon learned... why. We wanted a quick lunch and the online photos and menu looked great. When we arrived we were informed that the onlysandwich option was the box lunches. They consisted of a small sandwich (looks closer to a half sandwich), cookie, and smallside. The sign above said sandwiches states sandwiches are $6.48, which sounded reasonable. We grabbed two adult and two kidboxes. At checkout (which is cash only) the total was almost $80. I asked how an $6.48 sandwich jumped so much. I was informedthat the adult box was $18 and the kid box was $13. I asked what happens to the $6.48 price and was told that they had notupdated the sign. I understand that it?s been a struggle operating a small business in a pandemic and inflation, but I struggleto understand how the prices essentially tripled with no disclosure. My wife had already started her sandwich, so we were infor that box, but we placed the others back. I handed the cashier a $20 for the $18 box, but had to dig for a couple of bucksas the total was actually $21.24. Confused at the jump in price, I asked for a receipt. In addition to tax, they add anon-disclosed automatic gratuity. Again this is a super cute place and I wish it well. I just wish they treated their customerswith the same respect and display accurate pricing so we can make informed decisions rather than use misleading tactics. Read more

I wouldn't recommend it. Really pretty place, well decorated. You have to order on a kiosk, there are 2 of them. If the... kiosks are busy you have to wait outside. We place our order, coffee, pastries and sandwiches with chips. Decided to waitinside because today it was 85 degrees even though order wass to go. It took 20 min for them to talk to us! To tell us theywere making the plain jane sandwich, it has ham and lettuce...5 min later one of the young girls brought the sandwich and askedus if we had everything. Seemed like yes but we were supposed to grab the chips but forgot with all the back and forth. Thecoffee was good, strong, not bitter. The croissant was good. The sandwiches..not worth it. They do put lots of protein butthe breath is the dense kind and the slices while thick were small, see pics, specially for a guy. And in the premade sandwichthe bread was clearly old. Maybe go for coffee and pastries? We will not repeat. Read more

I hate having to give a negative review to a local place with so much potential. If it weren?t a small local place with great... ambiance I?d only give it one star. I can?t imagine a more wasteful and environmentally impactful way to prepare and servecoffee. An individual pod ends up in the trash for each $2.50 coffee. And I?m guessing the majority of those are served indisposable cups. Please consider shifting to a less wasteful more environmentally responsible way of providing coffee to yourpatrons. I would happily change this review in response to such a shift. Read more
