I literally fell in love with this restaurant from the first day I discovered them on UberEats ???? as a Vincentian, I can say... that Taste of Life is by FAR the best, MOST AUTHENTIC Vincy cuisine and one of THE BEST Caribbean restaurants throughout theGTA. They have a great variety of traditional Vincy and Jamaican dishes to choose from and the food is always hot, fresh andtasty!! ???????? I love this restaurant! I've visited a few times and I'll definitely be back. As a Vincy myself I am so happy for this... establishment. The food tastes sooo good, seasoned and there's variety for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians too!Perfect comfort food from back home! From the chef, staff, to the owner they really make you feel comfortable, welcomed andlike they've known you from back home. They have takeout, a bar, a stage area and dine in. I really didn't want to come on here and disrespect my people, I wanted to support my culture. This was by far the worst... Jamaican cuisine I've had in some time yyuukk!! I ordered through Uber Eats and read the reviews, almost 5 star ratings acrossthe board is why I ordered. The rice was overcooked, mushy and clumped together, the potatoes in the curry goat was so suspectas if it was cooked separately and added afterwards. The second meal I ordered was the stew chicken with rice and peas, I took abite and didn't even bother with the rest.. that says a lot. I'm so disappointed and puzzled at who's eating this food, I hadhigh expectations. I won't be ordering again. Read more

We recently went to the Taste of Life Restaurant and Lounge for the first time. We ordered jerk chicken, oxtail, BBQ chicken,... stew chicken, macaroni pie and fried dumpling. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic! This is some seriously tastyfood! We will definitely return. Highly recommend. Read more

Hands down the best caribean place we have ever been to! The lady who served us was super friendly, the food was absolutely... amazing, and the price was great (considering how much we ordered).
