This review is long overdue...I went here on what seemed like a slow day and was browsing casually through the menu whilst... standing at the counter. The guy there (what I assume to be the owner/ manager because when I asked for a manager he said it washim) shouted angrily at me for no reason "oh my god, the menu has a back and a front." (In annoyance coupled by an eye roll) Thefood is too mediocre for this kind of service.. I'm not one to pull the race card, but either he was having a bad day, or hisintolerance to me only browsing the menu was related to my race. If could have recalled the exact day this happened , I wouldreally report him to York for discriminatory practices. It was so random and uncalled for. Read more

It's just really expensive for OK quality sushi. A regular set in their fridge costs 15-17$ and a can of coke is like 3$ so... you're looking at 20$+ after tax for grocery store type sushi and a can of coke. Probably like 5$ too much. Limited seating andvariety as well. Their bowls are OK, again, on the higher end price wise and small portions. Just too much money for what you'regetting. Read more

Wow. I can?t believe what just happened. They have a deal on their lunch box that says you can get a beverage and an appetizer,... so I grabbed a pop from the fridge and asked for a miso soup. When I talked to the cashier about the deal, he told me there?sno beverage. So I asked him what the beverage would have been, and he just gets annoyed with me and kept yelling at me,repeating that there?s no beverage and that its out of stock. After I told him in a calm voice that I understand its not here, Ijust want to know what it is for next time so I can order it, he ends up telling me that they were not going to honour the dealon their own labels, because they had these deals years ago and they are not doing it anymore. I understood and I laughed at thesituation with my friend next to me because I was scared and stressed from being yelled at from the misunderstanding, and thenhe proceeds to yell at me telling me ?don?t laugh, you need to listen to what I say to you?? Easily the most tasteless garbage sushi I?ve had in my life. Price was also way too high. Don?t know why they?re costing so much... for bottom tier sushi. Read more

Unfortunate and rude customer service by the guy there. When you make inquiries he is abrupt and will overcharge for add ons.... Students stay away!!!! The price is already expensive and he is taking advantage and you don't have to deal with his rudebehavior. To the restaurant, please consider changing your help. If you're the owner who I had this interaction with, pleaselearn how to treat your customers and how to have conversation about your food and pricing. This is the second negativeinteraction I had.
