We were surprised when we opened our "large sushi tray" (which consisted of 2 trays actually) by the variety and quality of... them. Hard to describe the level of excitement when we tried every new type of sushi/sashimi. Prepared on time, ~82pieces for atotal of 90 bucks (with taxes) - perfect price for such an amazing quality. I wish we took a pic before eating, but we were tooexcited and jumped on them like hungry dogs. This place is now one of my favorite ones????. Read more
Great Service! Visited on 11/24/2020 - Bought in store and ordered sashimi. Management Kate and Peter were very friendly. Right... from the entrance, clear display of menu items and jumbo hand sanitizer for use. Place is clean and tidy, was great to supportlocal business. Packaging was handled with care. Presentation was mindfully artistic. The management disclosed that they usetheir own family house soy sauce. (Great alternative from plastic based packaging of individual soy sauces). Read more
The ingredients are very fresh and delicious and are served in a perfect quantity and size. The presentation is great and each... sushi piece tastes amazing. I asked them if they had a vegetarian Ramen because it wasn?t listed in the menu and they told me they could make a vegetarian... ramen for me and she told me that she was gonna charge me as a normal not vegetarian ramen and I said ok that?s fine. Theybring me the ramen and as I?m finishing it and I get to the bottom I see like pieces of meat which I?m assuming it would bepork. NEVER coming to this place again. If you can?t make vegetarian ramen just tell me and that?s fine. They definitely justgave me their pork ramen because they brought it to me in about 5 minutes. Read more
I was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the food I ate today. I decided to order the Shoyu Ramen and I was terribly... disgusted with it. I also want to add, that the meal options are very overpriced and limited even though they taste horrible.The chicken that was in my bowl was not even cooked properly which allowed me not to finish my meal. I only gave thisrestaurant 1 star out of 5 because I am unable to post without rating, however if I was allowed to give it a 0 I definitelywould. The environment was very clean and tidy. The service was quick (5 minutes for tonkatsu ramen) and friendly. They provide... complimentary wifi, since yorku wifi doesn't reach there, unless you have access to the quad's wifi. The ramen served wasn'tvery hot, so I was able to eat it without blowing on it (took less time to eat because of this). The ramen itself wasn'toutstanding, but it was good. The noodles do contain egg, so if you're allergic to that, ask them if they have an egglessoption, although I don't know if they do or not. Also, if you can't have pork for specific reasons, I believe that they do haveramen options that don't contain pork in their broth, but you'll have to find out yourself to be certain, for I haven't askedthem about it. Overall, a nice place with service and a meal that left me satisfied. I do recommend you give it a visit, if youwish to have ramen on campus. Read more
We've tried the sushi here twice now and highly recommend it! The portions are a great size ? so far we've ordered the tuna... sashimi, salmon avocado roll, miso soup and plain rice. I also appreciate how they separate the ginger/wasabi in little cups sothey don't slide around :) This is definitely our go-to place near campus! Read more
