Let's talk about people first. Ali and William, two great people who understand hospitality and we need more such people in the... service/food industry. Quality and Quantity, both are great! To be honest, I have been looking for a good Mediterranean placefor all these days, none of the other places maintain it clean most times, but Sultan's yonge st has been top notch. I also haveto mention that the Waterloo one disappointed me, they don't maintain it clean at all, the management has to put some focus onthe Waterloo location, because other two locations have 4.8+ stars and the Waterloo one is way behind. Really great food: Had a modified LCHF / Keto friendly version of the Sultans Mix of Chicken & Beef served without rice or... potatoes but three excellent fresh salads plus hummus & garlic sauce. Was in the area and stopped by Sultan?s for a quick lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. I hate a chicken shawarma platter... which included rice, potatoes, hummus, garlic sauce, and two salads. I opted for coleslaw and a zucchini salad. All for under$20 taxes included (I added on a can of pop.) Bot the cheapest lunch, but worth it. Keep in mind everything has gone up inprice. Customer service wow factor: I have a mobility disability and the woman working the cash registered offered without myasking to help me carry the tray to my seat. That was a very thoughtful and kind act. Below is a quick explanation of myrating mechanism: 1 star: Absolutely horrible and will not come back under any circumstances 2 stars: Way below my initialexpectation with very few highlights. Will only come back to if a friend strongly insists. 3 stars: Average with some turn-offs.Might give it a second chance to test more dishes/services/items out. 4 stars: Meets expectation with a couple highlights. Went to Sultan?s for lunch today after reading all the good reviews and seriously, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I love the beef... shawarma and it came with rice, potatoes, and 2 salads. It?s also value for money since I think the food is good for 2 people(or it?s just me because I came from a country with smaller servings). The guy that served me was great to deal with, the food was good however a tad on the pricy side as this is in the foodcourt... (just under $20 no drink), photo below was a mix of meat supposed to be two veggies but he let me try a few. The beef was ok ifI tried them again would def stick with my gut and just get chicken.
