We are a frequent customer at this bakery as we live close by. I dropped by today to buy a cake for family day. I love their... strawberry shortcake or any light cake but there is nothing in their stand but 3 different cakes. I chose this red velvet thatlooked cute. Now I know why I only but the white cakes. This red velvet tasted like plastic. It was cut in smaller pieces for mywhole fam and even my husband who just eats everything had something to say against it. It tasted like a 5 day old cake. I lovethis bakery and will still ckeep coning dor other things and service is always nice but this experience is really bad. Maybesomeone just forgot to take it out? But for the price, that?s just not cool. We were eating sweet plastic and cardboard. I don?tthink I?ll be able to try other cakes or pastry. I?ll probably just stick to what I know that works.
