Food -- excellent. This review is based on Paradise's sneakiness. First off: your bill will include the tip added, no matter... what size your party is. So Paradise makes a tip mandatory (I've always thought it was based on quality of service?) And theysneakily make the tip look like the tax (13%) so when you get your bill, you'll think you need to tip on top of that. Don't befooled. Second: They charge for tap water. I know water costs restaurants money, but seriously? $1 for each person for tapwater? It's not even filtered water, it's tap. Third: Service is only okay -- with mandatory tipping, I would expect at leastgood service. It's only minimal effort. Bring your food. Leave. Not even so much as asking if we need anything else. Four: backto the bill -- dim sum dishes are listed as S, M, L, or XL. With different pricing for each. Make sure you know what size you'reordering and calculate your total. The final bill does not have line-by-line charges, only the total. So you won't know if they"accidentally" charged you for two mediums when it should be two smalls. If you go in knowing all this, then you will enjoy thefood (which really is good) and not be bothered by the sneakiness. Read more

Dim sum is no longer lower priced before 10:30am or anytime. If you pay cash, you do receive 10% off. They charge you for tea... per person ( about $1.25) and also for water. They charge regardless of what age you are so if a 6 year old needs water, you'llbe charged. 13% gratuity is already added to the bill. I'm sure lots of people tip on top though as they don't refuseadditional tipping. Perhaps 13% is selected because you might think it's tax and then tip some more. Dim sum itself is good.Tasty. But no longer a good value so many options are out there for the same or better price. We paid $95 cash for about 10 dimsum dishes. Read more

This is a really solid Chinese restaurant. Everything is flavourful and fresh. The yin yang rice is interesting as it seems to... have some curry powder. The baked tapioca pudding is a must have. Read more
