Excellent Diner & Deli. We had a craving for a good corned beef sandwich and we headed to Prancers on Bathurst (N of Wilson).... Wow. Best corned beef sandwich I have had in a very long, long time. Amazing service right in the doors The waitress told us we just missed the rush. We arrived around 3pm. We ordered blintzes, 2... egg salad sandwiches, fried pickle spears, pickled green tomatoes, and latkes. Everything came super quick. The food is hot,home cooking that is simple and fresh. Prices are great. Clean mom and pops restaurant with some parking out front. Our newfavorite deli. Read more
Delicious jewish style diner. Came here to pick up some goodies for our trip back home. Service: FANTASTIC ! Very nice and... caring staff helped us pick out everything with ease super caring ! We picked up some chop liver, sliced tongue(salami style)and a couple of kishkas It?s a nice family run business and we love supporting local restos. We were recommended by this placeand apparently they?re very well known. They did not disappoint! The Beef tongue was amazing super fresh and delicious. Thekishka was delicious and fresh. The chop liver was absolutely mouthwatering almost as good as how my bubby use to make it. Thefood and service Top notch.. it?s pretty pricey but it?s worth every penny and it?s a treat. Order ahead and be prepared for little to no parking. After that warning, it will well be worth your efforts. Ordered roast beef... on onion bun combo and a pastrami on rye combo. Huge pile of juicy and flavourful meat. Yes, lots of meat. Huge portion ofthick-cut fries. The coleslaw was not the typical sour vinegary kind, it was fresh and almost sweet. Not a fan of pickles, butthe half spear was crunchy, not soggy and full of flavour. Definitely will return. Read more
Amazing cute little delicatessen with dine in and take out. Got the pastrami sandwich, mustard yes, side of fries,... coleslaw. Pastrami is done so well, simple and delicious. Prices are all reasonable too. Lots of visits lunch until lateafternoon. Friendly and neighbourhood service. Read more
So simple but so delicious. Pictures do it justice but how thick the deli meat is in each bread. The setting was simple but the... focus is on the meal itself. They have separate entrances (one for takeout , one for dine in). Would come here again Read more
