My wife and I were searching an Italian Pizza restaurant and we found this one online. So we went to order a take out pizza. 1... prosciutto and 1 margaritas. But it was the wrong decision that we made. The pizza crust, was old and frozen. The tomate sauceit was not even a Italian sauce. It’s from the can. The prosciutto over cooked and too dry. We complained to the restaurantthey do not even gave attention. Please guys don’t ever go this restaurant it’s so awful and expensive, I spent $80 dólaresfor a garbage pizza. Yummy lunch after a busy day at Yorkdale mall. We came here on a weekday for lunch. We shared the mussels, Caesar salad,... manicotti. Everything was amazing. So tasty. The classic Italian restaurant. Has the vibe to go with the great food. We got the cannelloni, cessation salad and mussels with... white wine sauce. Was perfect portion for 2 people and was very reasonably priced. Everything was delicious but the mussels wasthe standout. Highly recommend this spot for a nice lunch or dinner.! Read more
Today is my mom's birthday so my brother searched for an Italian restaurant for us to eat dinner. We arrived around 6:30ish pm... and there was no wait. Only one other table was occupied. The inside is super super cute. I LOVE the pink ceilings. ???? Theinside is nice and I felt under dressed. Service was slow but I overheard a worker had disappeared. There were long waits inbetween the server checking on but we weren't in a hurry so we didn't mind. We all ordered something different. I had themanicotti; my mom had spaghetti and meatballs; my brother had pizza; y sister in law had soup and then fettuccine. We all hadbruschetta as an appetizer. ???? The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I believe our server was the owner of therestaurant. Lovely gentleman with a great personality. He mentioned they are renovating and I requested they keep the pinkceilings. I'll be back in one year to check. ???? Overall, I'd go again and I recommend others check out Mirra's Place. ?? Read more
Had the cannoli during an event. Pretty good.
Ate here with a group last month. Overall, food was pretty good. I don't know what any of the dishes were called because we... never looked at a menu, since as a group we all were served the same thing, as was arranged ahead of time, I presume.. The meatand the sauce it was brought in was good, pasta side dish was straightforward but pleasant, too. Salad was OK, but I only saythat because I think it had onion and that's' not my favourite salad ingredient so I didn't really enjoy the flavour. Our groupdidn't order dessert, but I had their tiramisu at an event earlier in the year and enjoyed it. The only thing that put me off abit was that the owner didn't want to see my proof of vaccination when I arrived at the restaurant. Nobody else but our grouphad arrived at the restaurant yet (though other people arrived later), but I still found it a little disconcerting. I can onlyhope that when there are multiple groups in the restaurant that they actually check. Read more
Giving two stars instead of one because the staff were friendly. Craving Italian food, I decided to come here after reading... good reviews. When I arrived with my group, the entire restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. This should've been a red flag,but I decided to give it a chance anyway. We all ordered different types of pastas, and the meat in the pastas had a verystrong, unpleasant, pungent taste. It was evident that the meat was not fresh. The next morning, my stomach hurt like neverbefore, and I could not stop making trips to the bathroom. Unfortunately, I would not come here again. We were a party of six for early dinner. It’s a very pleasant dining room. The menu is comprehensive covering all the bases.... Our choices were from a good cross section of the menu ranging from salads, seafood, veal and pizza. Bruschetta was very niceand fresh. It could have had a little more hum. Pizza and salads were all enjoyed and found satisfactory. The veal was downrightdelicious! The portions on everything except the pizza were a little mean. Just like eating in Italy. If it wasn’t for thisfact I would have said it was reasonable value. My main gripe is with how long it took to get our meal. From the time our orderwas placed to the time we received our food was a half hour or more. Read more
