Made an order with a variety to taste. Mary Brown Original sandwich was very bland. The buffalo sauce sandwich was better but... very little spice compared to other restaurants. The macaroni was simple and comparable to any other restaurant that serves it.When I ordered tatters, I wasn't expecting potato wedges. The only thing that I could really say was worth eating there was thepoutine. Unfortunately for Mary Brown, KFC and Popeyes is a far better choice. Read more
Chicken was tasty and service was fast. (((((But a second charge unauthorized charge of $.50 was added to my bill without my... consent and I was not told about it, I saw the charge when going through my bank account the next day. Quick service and friendly staff. Chicken was okay, pieces were small. I got the 2 Piece Meal for $11.79. It came with taters... and a side of either mac & cheese salad or coleslaw + can of pop. I like that the chicken wasn't too oil or too salty however,it wasn't crispy. The chicken was juicy and moist but it's subpar compared to the other chicken fast food chains, when it comesto taste and texture. The mac & cheese was good, tastes identical to the one from KFC. Wow I have to say this is really good. I stopped in and ordered a sandwich and then also one breast to try it. They were... amazing. I noticed the batter was thin and really good and not full of grease. Then the owner ( such a nice person and supercool hair) told me that all the chicken is cut up and Cooke fresh here. While eating I searched about the franchise andrealized it is Canadian and from Newfoundland - think I found my new fried chicken place :) Read more
Nice and reliable location nothing too special about it. The people are quite friendly and the service is definitely faster than... the Markham location. I've been going here for a good few years. They always forget the spoon, they are lazy. But that's never got me to write a... review. I get there an hour before they close and they got 2 wings left. A whole Mary Browns with 2 chicken wings in the storeand nobody wants to make more. Yeah the chicken is good, but it's not worth wasting your expensive gas to get there and theycan't serve you. To make matters even worst is that I called before going and they didn't even answer so I assumed they are busywhich means they are going to have food ready. The workers are very friendly, courteous and helpful. I wanted to download the app and had some issues. They were all willing to... assist me. The chicken is not filled with oil like some other places chicken and the taste is great. Read more
