No doubt Friendly servers, obviously fresh meat and umlimited side dishes! There is no reason why I don?t come to this... location. Firstly, the meat is fresh and tender as they look in the pic! I ordered pork belly, jowl meat and beef bonelessshort rib. Honestly, these three portions are wonderful and highly recommended! (Other portions are also nice!) Of course, sidedish is also good to eat together! You can get any side dishes as much as you want:-) because all servers are so friendly thatthey refile any side dishes smiling at customers not to mention the manager! Lastly, there are attendable servers for customersto get what they want as quickly and much as possible. Frankly I asked for side dish so many times but servers rather said to methat if I needed anything else, feel free talk to them! Everything was perfect and I will come to this location again Read more

It's a cute space. Good ambiance. This place wasn't what I was expecting. We should have looked up the menu 1st- but I wasn't... disappointed. It's not a regular Korean BBQ where the meat is endless. The meat isn't but the sides are ( and even that theserver said it was all you can eat sides but there is always a limit to that too lol). The meat quality is great and the sideswere tasty. It seemed more authentically Korean. I enjoyed it very much. I would go there again to try other cuts of meat. Theyonly offer pork and beef (no seafood or chicken :-/ kind of disappointed ????. ) . They do not offer white rice either- justred rice and my friend was not feeling that. Your required to order at least 2 cuts of meat per table Parking and entrance isin the back. Read more

Daldongnae is raved among the best Korean BBQ in Toronto, and I tend to agree! Their locations have been propping up all over... the city, as well as in Montreal. We had reason to be at Yonge/Steeles, and took this opportunity to dine at Daldongnae's patio. It's hard to resist KBBQ when there's a colorful spread of sides filling the table. Let's start with the meat, the menu offersa selection of pork & beef cuts. We had Pork Belly that was cut to three medium sized thick slices. It was tasty with arefreshing onion vinegar mix & the soybean paste sauce in lettuce wraps. We also tried Beef Hanging Tender cuts that werepre-marinated. It was fairly tender with a steak taste as the marinade was quite light. Fun to cook your own meat, despite thesummer heat. Along with meat servings, the menu offers a few other Korean dishes. We tried the Seafood Pancake which waspleasantly crispy around the edges, and filled with baby shrimp, squid & scallions. It was too much food for 2 adults, as ourmeal came with cheese corn, steamed eggs, banchan & soybean stew. While the stew was a tad too salty, the sweet cheese corn &steamed eggs were delicious; we made sure to refill once. Meal service was pleasant as well. Friendly staff welcomed us uponentering the dim restaurant from their back door. On this hot day, they ensured we had plenty of ice water since we wished tosit in the patio. We were the only family there but we received frequent checkups to make sure everything was well. Our main &side dishes arrived in short order, as did our banchan refills! PS: if you're curious about Daldongnae's dark nostalgic theme,it harkens back to the "moon villages" in the mountains that became refuge post-Korean War. The interior restaurant decorintentionally resembles slums in films such as "Parasite". It's a reminder of a hardened life & communal spirit while enjoying afine meal. Read more

Had dinner here with my partner on a Friday evening. We thought it was going to busy, but managed to find a spot. Good service,... they're very welcoming and tended us well. Ordered beef boneless short ribs and beef chuck steak - quite good portion for 2.Their sides are delicious, but I love the soybean soup! It's the best soup I've had so far when visiting bbq house, had it withtheir steamed korean purple multigrain rice. Ordered some egg rolls - little bland but the ketchup saved it ????????. The corn, egg, and kimchi is well served with the bbq. Promptly checking on our table for any adds, checking the grill, and how wedoing. Overall, great experience???????? Read more

You honestly can't go wrong with Daldongnae. Great selection of meat and other assortments to compliment it. Especially great... during a cold winter day! It is of great value, with all you can eat sides. Though I have to say, it was a bit messy not havingplates and getting sauce everywhere lol. Maybe i'm just a noob with the wraps but honestly would recommend and will definitelybe back here again. Read more
