Everything we ordered was authentic, fresh, generous and delicious! Service was excellent, prompt and always accomodating... whenever we needed service. The ambience was a relaxed casual setting with individual booths. I felt like I was in a completelydifferent city as soon as I walked in the Decor caught my mood as it has a cool street vibe with the industrial modern outdoorfeel on the inside. My mom was quite happy eating here as she's very picky. So I'm giving on star off because the washroomsreally need to be cleaned up and renovated..I couldn't even stand washing my hands for a few minutes without not wanting to getout of there asap. Food: could get 5 stars for food quality and taste. Their meat was fresh, allthe dishes we ordered were nice to have. Good for a small group of friends, if you have more than 4, maybe one tablecannot fit all. ????Self BBQ Stove: 2 stars, no more than this. When oil dripped into the side rim where corns, steaming eggweee placed? it will splash hot oil to the table or people around it. It is too dangerous. ??Store policy: if I could I want torate it a 0!!!! 1. We have a group of 9 people, they said the gratitude will be 18% and we need to use two tables. We are okwith 18%, but feeling it is not right to ask us sit separately and charges a mandatory %. 2. Our table had 4 people, they saidthe minimum meat order requirement is 3 portion. The other table had 5 and the server said they need to order 5 orders for theirmeats and that was the minimum requirement. So we ordered the required amount of meat and the dishes we want to try. And foundthe meat ordering requirement were not reasonable. If we want to try more of other dishes, then we cannot finish all of themeat. ??? not sure if they do it to everyone, but we got this from them. The go to place for proper kbbq, the meat selection is good and the side dishes are amazing. Corn cheese and egg are also... included! However it is fairly pricey per order, and service can be slow at times. Not ideal if you're starving. Arriveearlier than when you want to eat on weekend nights to get on the waitlist. Getting a table can take upwards of 45 minutes andthey don't take reservations through phone. Read more

We love meat, and we love the bbq meat. It?s a good Korean bbq restaurant, but the price is a bit high

This is one of three Daldongnae locations in North York. This one does not have an outdoor patio but is well sanitized and... maintained for pandemic protocols (stage 3 - dine-in)! The service and food quality is pretty good. Staff is pretty tentative onchecking your stove/fire and punctual if flagged down for service. It was definitely the vintage vibe like I've seen in SouthKorea as well. The interior is very rustic and wooden vibes which brings the whole ambiance together. Definitely recommended fora nice place to meet and eat food with friends! Since it was a minimum order of two for the BBQ, we ordered the Beef Rib EyeRoll (came as 1 large steak) and the Pork Belly (came as 3 pieces). They came with all the side dishes you'd expect along with adish of red onions with a marinate/dip. The metal plate came with sweet corn, kimchi, garlic and egg (which they pour from akettle). There was also a soup that came with the order as well. First time trying out Daldongnae, It was really good. We ordered Beef Boneless Rib & Pork Belly, you can taste the quality of... the meat they used. The side dishes are yummy! Our favourite are the corn cheese and steamed egg. We end up ordering more BeefBoneless Rib, and in my opinion, they gave more the 2nd one that the first order, lol!
