Used to like this place. Went recently to get some chicken tenders and realized that they sell the fries separately so $10 for... 6 chicken tenders is now $16-not good. The dip tasted a little off so I think it must have been old, and the fries were dry. Regardless of the price, the food used to be good and it's not like that anymore. Read more

Went from the best fried chicken around to the worst. Used to go frequently, went about two months ago and had the saltiest... meal ever. Gave them another shot today, my tongue is burning and I feel nauseous from the salt. Done with this place. Read more

Wow! I never knew it was possible to butcher food so badly until I walked into this place. The crew members were polite and... friendly but the food was awful. The fries were raw in the middle and were barely edible. My friend got the grilled chickensandwich which was so burned and overcooked, it was like biting on a rubber tire. I had the breaded chicken which wasn't bad.Gravy was tasty. Didn't like the fact that they don't have drinks in tap (you have to buy cans). I don't see myself everreturning to this house of horror. It always gives me pleasure to visit this great fried chicken joint and eat some succulent chicken. I went to their Morningside... joint regularly when i lived in Scarborough. I live in North York now so i was quite happy to find out that they have a jointhere as well. It is located on York Mills Road and TTC bus no 95 has a stop 2 mins from the store.There are many shops in thesame plaza. I bought Chicken,Coleslaw,Fries and Gravy and everything tasted really good.I must say that their stuff is betterthan Popeye and much better than KFC. Read more

Monday and Tuesday special is 2 pieces of chicken with fries for $3.75 plus taxes. The order taker was very efficient and... service was very fast; under 2 minutes and I had my food walking out the door. I sat on the outdoor patio of 3 octagon picnictables with umbrellas. There are 6 bicycle poles to lock up your ride if you peddled your way here. Now, first thing I noticedwas that the 2 chicken pieces were a healthy size along with a lots of fries. Second, fries had no salt added. Is it only mebut fries salted immediately after they exit the fryer taste different that ones that sit and then salt is added just beforeconsuming. The chicken was good and moist...not great. The fries somewhat soggy (probably waiting under the warming lamps forpeople that thought 2 minutes out the door was a good sign). No in this case! So, overall I would say that the store specialis good value and it hits the spot for a light dinner. I?ll return but I can?t see my rating ever hitting a four star. Read more
