I like Cafe Landwer for their breakfast and brunch options. However, I should be able to have an omelette + coffee for under... $20. Their non-vegan omelette with mushrooms, spinach, leek, and goat cheese is $25. Brewed coffee is $4 - the price of a talllatte at Starbucks. Really loved the food here. The patio was in the shade which was perfect on a hot day! They?re very equipped for kids- with... colouring, and small toys to keep them distracted as well as a great kids menu. Fun restaurant with a good atmosphere and tasty food. The mushroom pappardelle is a standout item with rich flavour and al... dente pasta. The veggie protein shakshuka is tasty but too salty for my tastes. Kids meals are satisfactory but be aware thatthe batter on the chicken tenders has some sesame seeds in it, in case you have fussy kids. The mimosas are nice and strong???? Read more
Would totally come back here in a heart beat for breakfast! They had so many options for food and drinks but we had their panini... type sandwiches which were really tasty and their smoothies were good as well. I wouldn?t recommend the matcha latte but all inall I give four stars because I want to come back to try more items, and the place is super cute! Nice diner feel. Read more
Went here months ago but I can still remember how good their shakshuka was. Had mine with Halloumi and it was magnificent.. I... did, however, not like the fact that they charge extra for extra bread. Service was good though and super friendly staff. Iwould surely want to come back to try their schnitzel. Read more
The food was really good! The bread to shakshouka/hummus ratio is pretty drastic (not enough bread and too much of everything... else), but other than that, the food is great. The vibe in the cafe is really nice; would be perfect for a cute lunch on aSunday. My only complaint would be that the staff kinda forgot our table at times. We asked for more time to check our menubefore the staff took our order, and it took a long time before they came to our table again (I saw staff members insisting ontaking orders from other tables, even though I waved multiple times for their attention). Celebrated a birthday breakfast at this location on October 23, 2022. High quality breakfast, great service and a really nice... atmosphere. We have many great breakfast spots in north Toronto, and this place has emerged as one of my favorites. You willfind things on the menu that other places don?t offer. Worth trying. Read more
