Nothing Armenian about this place. Shawarma and falafel are not ?classic? Armenian dishes, they are not Armenian in the first... place. If you want mediocre arabic/middle eastern food come here and enjoy yourself. But if you?re looking for authenticArmenian cuisine this is absolutely not your spot. Most underrated restaurant in the City of Toronto!!! I am not a soup-lover but their lentil soup is UNFORGETTABLE! I have never... been more loyal to a restaurant than this one. Horrible food, got explosive diarrhea within hours. The kabobs were not kabobs. They were just pieces of beef with fries in a... box. The chicken was cold even it?s a wrap. Takeout only for the time being. The chef & owner behind the kitchen counter said hello as I walked to the back he asked what I... wanted. My reply was this is my first time here and I don't have any idea since I keep driving past this Victoria Avenuerestaurant and it seems closed. He had a good sense of humour and said he was preparing a combo sampler and I could buy thisone and he would prepare another for the customer that just called. Deal, I'll take the combo sampler for $16.95 tax included! It came with HOT sauce and four pita breads. I built myself a pita sandwich with the ingredients and dabbed on the hotsauce Pow! Delicious. Food was very tasty, it was my first experience to Armenian cuisine. I ordered platter and my colleague ordered sandwiches. The... portions were huge and very tasteful. I?m giving 4 starts only because of slow service. There was one chef and one lady takingorders and serving food. We had to wait for getting attended.
