We loved it here! Everything was so good!! We sat outside and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Our waitress was wonderful and... attentive. The food was reasonably priced, tasted fresh and arrived in a timely manner. A must try are the Mimosa Flights...Made with Fresh fruit and what seemed like freshly squeezed juice. - amazing! The chicken and waffles were the table favorite.My Eggs Benedict (i dont care for poached so my eggs were fried) with fresh lump crab cakes were also a delicious delight. I LOVE this place! First time stepping foot in wildwood, heard so much about it and just had to go here. First off, was sold on... the fact there's a mimosa flight, cause who doesn't want to get a good buzz at 830am? Secondly, their food backs it up.Delicious drinks to go with the food and there's SOOOOO MUCH of the menu I would devour. Wish I had more than one stomach to tryeverything lol it's so damn good! Been here twice in a matter of a few days and would love to go back already! The mini cinnamonbun waffles are incredible and a great little starter, the breakfast flatbread omg would live off of that if I could. Definitelyrecommend!!! Read more

Always a great breakfast stop as the food and service are always top notch! We always sit outside & in the early morning seating... is easy, however around 10ish the outside seating begins to fill up (understandably). Had a wonderful experience at the Salty Mermaid! It has a beachy, cool, relaxing atmosphere...not to mention the place is... clean. The staff is friendly. Our server's suggestions were on point and I was amazed with how quickly food was expedited on abusy night. The food was excellent! Try the bacon jam wings...sounds weird but they were best wings I've ever had! Theirbrussel sprouts were a great sub for the fries. If you're looking for quality food at the beach then you MUST try the SaltyMermaid. My family and I travel to Wildwood every summer and now I have a new spot that I will be visiting every time I go. Everything was excellent! Arrived with no reservation just after lunch time and the three of were seated right away. Drinks and... food were brought out within a timely manner and never felt rushed one bit. Appetizers were delicious and portion sizes was justright. Entrees were also delicious and the portion sizes were above and beyond. Restaurant was very clean in and out side. Wesat outside on the deck, nice breeze coming thru. There is also another seating area to eat next to the outdoor deck. During theevenings driving passed, there is always a good crowd. Pricing is definitely fair for what you get! Was looking for someplace to have dinner outside solo and happened upon the Salty Mermaid?SO glad that I did! Their outdoor... dining space is amazing. The decor is lovely and service was exceptional. And the food was GREAT! They also have a stellar beerselection. I enjoyed myself so much I came back the next day for lunch (with my brother, who was also very impressed). Assomeone who hates repeating restaurants for fear of missing out on something new, this says a lot, ha. Love this place andexcited to see it thrive. Definitely recommend it! Read more
