Reviews for Tomahawk Restaurant in North Vancouver, BC
Loved it. This is a true gem. Smaller place with a very cozy feel and beautiful setting. The decor is very comfortable., tons of... amazing artwork and nostalgic pieces to see, even a wishing well duck pond and trinkets up front. So sweet. The steak specialwas perfect, and the apple pie desert was deadly good. ???? Thank you for the great evening and dinner. Read more

A North Van favorite! I haven't ate something here that I didn't like. The Meatloaf is amazing and same with the Breakfast... Bowl. It is a cozy place with lots of character. They also have out door seating which is nice on a beautiful day. Read more

A great spot for brunch, especially if you're visiting, or new to Vancouver. The Tomahawk has a large selection to suit... everyone's tastes, the prices are fair, and they use high quality ingredients (the hashbrowns are super crunchy). From Benny'sto big brunch platters, they have it all. If you're going with more than 2 people, make sure you get there early because theline can get pretty long. Can't wait to come back again! The restaurant definitely has some character of its own; so, we can see why it attracts visitors and why it has become a... landmark but, we didn?t find the food to be as memorable. We went there for lunch and, even though the menu has many options,it was hard to find anything interesting that wasn?t breakfast oriented, similar burgers/sandwiches or basic diner food. Forexample, the burger descriptions were almost the same, except for an ingredient (absent or present). Anyways, that wouldn?thave been an issue except for the fact that, even though the food was good, it didn?t really exceed any expectations. We hadthe STEAK AND MUSHROOM PIE, which was the most successful; the CHIEF DOMINIC CHARLIE BURGER, which was OK; and, a LEMON MERINGUEPIE that looked better than it tasted. The service was friendly. Delicious. Everything was good quality from the dark yellow yolked eggs to their own hot sauce. The eggs were cooked exactly as... ordered, and the kitchen know the difference between over easy and over medium. Excellent hollendause, and exceptional housemade bacon. Has an interesting history and competent servers. The mixed grill was very good. Our party of 5 was seated quicklyon a Saturday. Read more
