I have grown up in Deep Cove and have amazing memories of going to the Raven. I still go regularly. The last few years the... quality of their pizza for take out has been very hit and miss. The dine in seems fine. It has bothered me that their pizzaprice was a premium and has always been worth the extra price. Lately the quality for take out has been horrible. I haveincluded a picture of the Raven Special that had almost no toppings. I tried to call to let them know how dissatisfied theirpizza was. No reply. I left a message and have waited a week just to hear anything back. I highly recommend eating anddrinking at the Raven but will give them a bug thumbs down on take out for the last year. ***Update Thank you Ashleigh for yourreply. I have emailed you twice at the email address you asked me to and you have not replied. I am getting take out tonightbut will be ordering from another local establishment for the foreseeable future. Stopped in for their “Raven” burger, with upgrades to fries: truffle and sweet potato. It’s definitely a good burger,... juicy and tasty, though you are paying $20 for it. Truffle fries: nothing special. Sweet potato fries: not visually asappealing, decent, though you get much less. Lettuce wrap option with sauces on the side: great! Spacious seating outside. Read more
This is our local pub. Having lived in the neighbourhood for 15 years The Raven Pub has been a solid steady place to meet... friends over the years. The pizza is yummy and the burgers are very tasty. My kids love their kids menu as the burgers arepretty much the same size as the regular menu. What I really love and always find refreshing is their solid group of femaleservers. Always polite, friendly and accommodating. I believe their bar manager is female as well..which is refreshing. Mykids love going there. A nice easy place to drop in with family and friends. They do a nightly special through the week sohave a look on their website to see what is being featured. Always pretty tasty!! Read more
Havent been here in years and was very pleased. The pub has been around forever and is super relaxed. I need gluten free food... and was happy to see they had pizza I could eat ! I had a cider on tap that was cold and refreshing and my pizza was delicious!Our server was a friemdly and super energetic young girl who worked a busy afternoon on her own and dis it with grace and goodhumour .
