Visiting from out of province. First time visiting North Vancouver in over 10 years celebrating my birthday week/weekend with my... best friends. Destiny our server was wonderful! Lately Vancouver weather has been on the colder side we got sat in the middle ofthe restaurant and our server Destiny offered a table near the fireplace without the request. Very thoughtful! We’ll comeagain here when I visit and recommend this place to people I know visiting !!! Read more

Surprisingly good! Thought it would be like bar quality food but was mistaken. Pros: Quality of the food. Was prepared well... and tasted great. No complaints that I can remember. Staff was nice. Cons: can get really busy and order was slow. Tightseating. So no place to have a romantic conversation or experience. More like a hang out with the friends place. Tips: Beingyour friends, not your date. Read more

A nice location right at the quay and near the water. We went for happy hour and while it was busy, this place is huge with a... ton of indoor and outdoor seating. The happy hour menu has some great choices and if you’re looking for a light or cheapdinner, there are some great choices. The kids menu dishes are huge and everything is tasty. If you want something that followsthe template of the mid range west coast restaurant, Tap and Barrel will be consistently good. Read more

We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. The food is stunning, cocktails are great and... there are lovely selection of beers. Harry who served our table made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Ihighly recommend this place. Read more

Simple menu but well done. This is like classic pub fare you would expect to get. It’s nothing fancy but there is also... nothing wrong with it. The restaurant is massive with both indoor and outdoor seating. The waiter was very good in explainingany dishes and advising one of the people who joined us one what to order due to dietary restrictions. I’m not sure I wouldgo out of my way to come here but this was a work trip and we needed accommodation for a big group so it worked well for us! Read more

The beers are pretty good and I love their sour beers. The snacks are pretty good too. I didn't try and main meal but I tried... the squid, grilled chicken and two different fries. My favorite was the waffle fries. The wings and the squid were ok. The staffare amazing and super friendly and the environment is great specially the patio has a great view. Inside is pretty cool as wellwith all those big barrels on top of each other. Read more

What a great place! We were staying near by while visiting North Van so it was on the to-do since I'm a bit of a beer nerd. The... food and drinks were friggin great! However we did have a peculiar situation while waiting to be seated. At a glance there was aton of seating, but I understand that staffing can influence opening sections of restaurants. What was weird was that a walk-incouple, just like us, were offered a table not mentioned to us, and we're seated long before we were. It wasn't too much longerof a wait so I'm not petty enough to dock a star. We'll definitely swing by again when we're there! Read more
