Been here couple of times with friends. Great location. Very visible on a busy street. Parking can be difficult at time but... totally depends on the time you are going. The restaurant needs to reorganize the layout of tables and chairs for dine incustomers. It still is on a Covid Layout and everything looks disorganize which ruins the vibe in the restaurant. Price isreasonable for the portion of the food. Food is okay but nothing out of ordinary. I?va had better sushi or bento box somewherebut the food here is still good to satisfy cravings. This place is one of the best sushi places in North Vancouver. The're affordable, clean and have good service and food. The... house green tea has a nice roasted flavor. Unfortunately due to the pandemic they are not open for dine in. We orderd aheadand our food was ready within ten minutes. We had two orders of prawn tempura, an order of pork spring rolls, a dynamite roll, achicken teriyaki bowl and the teriyaki combo. The combo came with miso soup, eight pieces of chicken teriyaki, eight pieces ofbeef teriyaki and cucumber maki. Out of all of them, my favorite would have to be the teriyaki bowl. Ordered some take out since you can?t eat indoors at the moment. Haven?t been here before but was very happy with what we... ordered. The value for portion size was great. The rolls were on the touch smaller side but for the price I think it was worthit. I might have gone 4.5 stars if allowed since there was a touch too much batter on the tempura but not worth going to 4stars. Inexpensive, probably the best bang for buck on the #sushistrip AKA Lonsdale. Love the lunch menu - 3 rolls (pick from 20... options) and miso for $10. Sweet! Would come back again, especially for lunch. Read more
I would say that the food was pretty good, just wish it wasn't such a warm say, i felt like the rice on my roll was just a bit... dry. The decoration left a lot to be desired for but the food makes up for it. The prices for the food is also quite decent, ihad gotten a bento box and one of there creation rolls called the devil roll. I would give more stars but maybe i just on a badday...i did eat here after the Grouse Grind, perhaps that could sway the experience also. Read more
