Very nice cafe, nice atmosphere as well. The tiny fishes are so dam cute
We stopped here between switching busses, and it was a great decision. We each had a crotai. I found the pastry breading to be... delicious even on its own, and there were so many filling types to choose from. The coffee was great too. If you're not in arush to get to your destination, it's worth hopping off here to grab some food and get the next bus instead! Read more
Horrible service, every time I try to go get anything at this establishment (coffee, ice cream or even a sandwich) as it is a... convenient location to me, they take YEARS to prepare it, even a black coffee take them 5 mins when the establishment is alone.Is just really bad, in terms of food, yeah they have cute fish designs for the ice cream waffle cones and pastries but taste ismediocre for an 8 dollar ice cream. Sandwiches are also expensive for what they contain, barely anything inside. Is justoverpriced because it looks good but they have a lot to work on with customer service and food quality and content. If you gograb something here to post it on Instagram I guess is okay but for any other reason I would not recommend it. Washroom isalways working but they will give you an excuse of why you cannot use it and the place is so small and if there is a group of 5it feels super crowded. If you go to Capilano University or going to work and wanna stop for a coffee while waiting for the busskip it, it will just make you loose one bus for a extremely mediocre coffee ? ????. Read more
I tried the Vanilla Bear and the Mango Carp. Server gave me a hot and fresh batch. I liked the Mango better. Quite pricy for the... size, but I would consider trying more cute treats in the future. Read more
Taste was ok but I found a hair in my cro-tai! Yuck! I wouldn't recommend buying day-old stuff because even with re-heating,... the crust gets very hard and is inedible. If you are having these, have them fresh! The tuna cro-tai was good. The bacon one wasjust okay. And the cinnamon was okay too. The stuffies are very tiny - less than 2 inches tall. Was unimpressed by the size.The vanilla custard tasted only ok. I wouldn't get them again. Read more
I've been here a couple of times (prior to the pandemic), absolutely love what they have to offer! I've gotten boxes of their... 'stuffies' for work events, cute treats to share with different flavours, although my favourite is still their vanilla custard.Their cro-tai is excellent, a good portion for lunch. Their thai chicken is so savoury, but they have sweeter options aswell. Aside from that, I've had their lobster bisque both times (once I called in advance and the staff were kind enough tomake some/heat some up since it wasn't their daily soup). It is so tasty that I've had to take some out on both my visits! Iwonder if this soup is still a flavour they offer? Anyways, it's not close to home so I have to make a special trip out, butit's well worth it for their selection. Being near a bus loop, it's also convenient for a quick coffee/treat. Read more
Cute little pastry shop with stuffed bears and fish, filled with different flavors. The items can be bought and customized with... sprinkles and toppings or left plain. Either way they are very cute and delicious. First time to try but would happily stop inagain and pick up for friends or whoever likes sweets. Read more
After reading the menu where it clearly says ?vegan vanilla? I was more than shocked to have received cow?s milk soft serve!!... It?s not clear at all on the menu that I had to specifically ask for the vegan option. I saw the employees pour in Dairylandmilk into the ice cream machine and when I asked them what milk they used they confirmed it was cow?s milk. Luckily I?m notlactose intolerant or have a dairy allergy, but I feel the signage is misleading. Read more
