First bite and I'm a Fan for life!!! 1/2 lbs pulled pork with House Rub Fries and potato Salad with cornbread. I am not usually... a fan of cornbread but it was delicious. Many options, delicious with good portions, will definitely try again. Montreal smoked sandwich was so tasty although a bit... salty, brisket sandwich was superb and is totaly suggested, pork ribs were also tasty. Read more
I've been here occasionally for a few years now, and this visit will be my last. The BBQ is still great. The brisket was tender,... flavorful, and had a great bark. The pulled pork itself was perfect, although the sauce didn't taste as good as I remembered.The fries are amazing. Light, crisp, and piping hot. The cornbread has always been mediocre and the pitt beans were good, butnot as good as before. Over the years, the price has gone up and portion sizes have gone down. It's just not worth it anymore. What a find!!! Stumbled across this local gem on our way back to nearby hotel. Cassandra provided great service & explanations... of menu items (our first visit). Huge menu including Family style options. I started with Berry Smash cocktail, couldn't detectany rum or mint but definitely got a little buzz. We sat outside in the perfect weather & the smoker smell inside & out wasdivine! Hubby ordered brisket sandwich and I had pulled pork. The fries (seasoned) came out a little late but were fantastic andvery very hot! Our sandwiches were outstanding... perfect smoke & bark & great flavor. Felt like something heavy after doing the grouse grind and decided to come here. Tried out their signature brisket but wasn't... too impressed by it. Not juicy as I thought it'd be. Really loved the pulled pork sliders though that saved me from giving alower star. Attentive staff. Read more
BBQ was good- the pulled pork and brisket were moist and flavourful. Good fries. Cornbread was a bit dry and too crumbly for my... taste….so disappointed with the serving size. 45$ for this? The menu said it was for 2 people and we got one serving of thesides…maybe more value if my husband and I got our own meals? It’s literally coleslaw, cornbread and fries and theycouldn’t include two servings for a meal they said serves two people? The fries are underneath the TWO SLICES of brisket.wouldn’t have paid 45$ for this amount of food, nor that great for value— AND they charged a 1$ extra to order online forpickup from their website…? Came here during van dine out. Soup, meat tasting platter, mac n cheese and the drinks were all fantastic. Salad and dessert... were a complete afterthought to fill the set menu and didn't taste good at all. Service was somewhat slow as our server was veryinterested in the sports game on tv. Read more
