This is one of the cutest places on Lonsdale for a nice Italian dish. We had the classic pizza and the mushroom pasta for... dinner. My favorite was the clams for appetizer. Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very calm and the interior design isdelightful. I think the service can be a little faster and more elaborate. But overall, a great experience! Read more

Came in for dinner, the place was preety busy when we got there, but when we were seated and ordered got preety empty fast The... drinks came in preety fast and so is the calmary which was ok, but we had to wait quite a while for food to arrive, only got ourmains when we asked what is going on. And still we got 2 dIshes out of 3 which kind of sucks when everybody but one person getstheIr food. Looked like they forgot about order they told us because they were busy but that was not the case as the placed wasalmost empty when we were waiting for food The lamb ragu was ok nothing out of the ordinary, pizza was good nothing exeptional. Also minor part but does add to our overall expirence we didnt get the Complimentary bread At the end the gave us a freeteramisu which was preety good and im assuming the owner Apologize to because they had a lot of employees training Overallthe food i would say is 6.5/10 Service 4/10 They did try to do somthing on their own Initiative which what makes it a 3 starreview and not 1 Read more

Comparing to other Italian places, the price is mostly the same and high but the quality of the food is just okay. We had to... wait for a long time for a waiter to walk around to ask for water! The eggplant was delicious and wine was good. They had livemusic and dance for weekend nights, enjoyable . Entrée bread was not fresh AT ALL! Read more

Delicious meal on a Tuesday evening. Arrived at 7:30pm and got a lovely outside patio table and watched the sunset. $15 pastas... on Tuesdays! My partner had the lamb ragu pasta and I had the Mediterranean pizza. Both served piping hot and full offlavour. Read more

What makes this place work is the food! The pesto chicken pasta was velvety and creamy, and the rigatoni sausage ragu had a... satisfying, meaty sauce. The Salsiccia pizza was piquant. There was confusion about happy hour rates which was solved promptly ,hence the three stars. The food deserves four. The decor is an overlap between the energy of summer and the moodiness of fall. Lovely, lively local restaurant. My husband and I went at 6, the sunshine streamed through the windows and lit the space... cheerfully. It was extremely busy! When we called ahead they warned that they do not take reservations and that they were at apeak time but since we weren't in a hurry we went anyway. When we arrived we were lucky and three tables were being cleared, allof which were immediately filled. The food was delicious! We ordered the 3 meatball appetizer: generously portioned, nicelyseasoned and the sauce was amazing. Followed by the pepperoni pizza and salsiccia pizzas - the pepperoni was fresh and lightwith a good balanced taste. The salsiccia was a standout! We ended up with enough pizza to take home roughly half of each.Afterwards I had to treat myself to the chocolate panna cotta, which was rich, thick, creamy, and just a bit tangy - in otherwords perfect! I almost forgot to mention the free house foccacia, served with oil and balsamic, nice and fresh and light. Wealso used it to wipe the last of the sauce from the meatball appy! I enjoyed a sicilian sunset martini, which was fruity andfun, followed by taking a chance on a glass of the house white wine. I've been disappointed before and so I was really pleasedto find out that their house wine was actually very nice! All together, bill came to $100.90 (before tip) and I am now in food coma! Oh, one other thing, they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We caught "Tom & Georgina Arntzen", not really mycup of tea, but pleasant enough. The musical act is posted on their Facebook page and they seem to have many different actscoming through. Altogether I highly recommend this place! Read more

I was introduced to this place by a friend and I enjoyed their food. They’re known for their delish Neopolitan pizza and... pasta. We started with the deep fried calamari and had the prosciutto pizza with fresh arugula. The calamari came with slightlygrilled red peppers which was a nice change. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it. It didn’t taste too greasy but a little toomuch of batter. The pizza was cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. The menu is one and the same for both lunch and dinner. There’s a decent selection for vegetarians. Note they’re only open for lunch from Wednesdays to Sundays. ClosedMondays. Service was prompt. Great ambience and clean place. Parking is on the street. Be aware of the 1 hour parking limitsexcept the side streets which is 2 hr max. Read more
