The best kept lower Lonsdale secret? Definitely! Awesome food from amazingly tasty and very reasonably priced breakfasts... (breakfast sandwiches are topnotch and cheap) to fantastic dinner options. And let?s not forget the baked goods! Go in on aSaturday morning and grab a giant fresh baked cinnamon bun, best ever! The staff, from the servers to the kitchen, areextremely friendly and welcoming. Plus, the owners are super hard working. Which is why the food and atmosphere are soinviting. I highly recommend searching this lovely place out. Take that stairs up from Esplanade (it?s right beside Shoppers)or stroll through the courtyard off of 1st Street. Look for those yellow/gold umbrellas and enjoy. Read more

What a gem of a restaurant in lower Lonsdale that Kitchen Craft Eatery is!! They make home cooked meals that taste absolutely... delicious and also deserts and pastries to die for!! The outdoor patio Is a little oasis in the heart of lower Lonsdale andaccented nicely by the flower boxes around the perimeter. What a fantastic experience. First off, it is a beautiful venue, a very pretty patio surrounded by flowers with great city... views. The service is perfect, very friendly and professional. Now I consider myself a breakfast aficionado and this is one ofthe best I have ever had. Every part of it, from the perfectly cooked eggs, hearty bread, crispy home fries, to the cutelycarved fruit garnishes shows someone that takes pride in their craft.
