me and my mom ordered a grill platter but the seafood was small pieces and hardly any, the main thing was it was dry and over... done. I have ate many times but I don't recommend this place for Japanese food. Plus it was my mom's birthday and it ruined itfor the both of us. Read more

I've been to Genji twice recently for lunch in 2022 Oct and I enjoyed the experience. The place looks inconspicuous from the... outside and is next to Shoppers in Parkgate Village North Vancouver. The inside though is nice and gives a sense you are inJapan especially with the booths or cubicles. The lunch box is well priced at about $15 and comes with a variety of deliciousitems. Read more

My service at Genji is always amazing. Definitely my go-to sushi place in the Deep Cove area. Their sushi is well priced and... delicious and fresh. I always get seated in a semi-private booth, it's such a nice experience! Read more

Located in Parkgate Village beside Subway near the Mount Seymour Parkway entrance. Lots of parking. Clean, friendly service. Had... the lunch Bento box. Chicken was skinless and not crispy and no rice. Otherwise everything else was tasty. Nice quiet friendlyneighbourhood sushi place. Read more

Few fried sushi options, only 1 option with cream cheese, the sushi is HUGE, impossible to eat in a few bites (looks like a... mini-hamburguer), the service is TERRIBLE (they close at 9 pm, we arrived at 8:10, the person who served us was rushing us toorder - we finished the 8:25, rushed us to pay and practically kicked us out of the restaurant). I DO NOT RECOMMEND thisrestaurant at all, if you can, avoid it. Read more

I wish I could give them a 5 star, but when I ordered my chicken Teriyaki roll, and it was mostly imitation crab, which was very... frustrating, I dont even like fake crab to begin with!. Had I known this, I would not of ordered. Was the first time in my lifeI had a chicken Teriyaki roll with crab in it. The other salmon avo roll I had was great though, so I gave 3 stars. Read more

Situated in Parkgate plaza, it?s a quaint family run restaurant. Service was similar to sushi California, have to flag our... server down for service. Their take out is also very convenient since COVID happened. Everything is always fresh and on point. The prices are a bit higher than sushi California, but given they?re one of three Japanese restaurants on this side of town, Ithink it?s justifiable. I like their sashimi salad, their sauce is a bit spicy. Prawn tempura is also very crispy and tendershrimp, even when we got it home. Rolls were good portions too, and nigiri sushi was on point. Overall a nice option for thisarea of town. Read more
