Came for breakfast today with my wife. Hot diggy. Food, atmosphere all top notch but perhaps a titch understaffed. We waited a... little while for a table but no biggie. After that service was great and once coffee arrived well. Nothing was on my mindexcept soaking up a Saturday morning at the diner. French toast was awesome. The lemon and fruit is a nice accent and themarscapone helped the challah bread along as well. Coffee was great too. Will be back. My favourite bike store is around thecorner. Read more
I ordered a breakfast item, and the food was great! It's a cozy and almost cramped restaurant with additional seating outside,... but the ambiance was very welcoming and the staff were friendly. Seats do fill up fast, so come early! Read more

Great combination of retro/modern vibe, delicious food, and super-friendly service. You can customize your omelet. Enjoyed the... avocado benny, two egg breakfast, in-house waffles, and granola yogurt. Even the hashbrowns were seasoned well. All our disheswere cooked perfectly! Coffee was also pretty solid. This is a hidden gem on the north shore. Breakfast cooked to perfection, bottomless coffee brewed for taste. Having personally... ordered the omelette, it looks simple but it?s surprisingly delicious. You can never go wrong with hash browns as a side if notpart of your order. So good. Really captured an amazing young diner vibe. I wish I could have tasted everything on the menu because the eggs... Benedict and French onion grilled cheese was so good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be a brunch goto from now on. Read more
Wow, why did I wait so long to experience Douce Diner??? Probably because I usually end up down the street at the first and... original Cactus Club. The staff, amazing, and the food is spectacular! Today I tried the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and we alsotried the Avocado Toast. The Benedict on a fresh baked biscuit is brilliant! I ordered it with an extra egg because we can neverhave enough soft egg yolk dripping all over the smoked salmon. I was also impressed with the hash browns...super good with theDouce Hot Sauce. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and a bright and sunny atmosphere. PS theCaesar comes as a double for $10 and it is tasty. Thanks to the staff and crew. Read more
Amazing "retro dinner" spot in North Van. I went there twice and both times the food was excellent. The staff was super friendly... and the service super fast. I highly recommend the Quinoa salad if you are looking for a lighter option and the Denver bowl fora more filling meal. A must if you are in the area! Read more
