Decided to order a family combo meal from this restaurant. A bit confusing at first at all the different sides but staff was... very helpful in ordering. The food was amazing!!!! Decent food but I had a weird interaction with one of the people that work there. our seven month old baby was eating and she... was making a little bit of a mess as babies do I woman who works here basically made a big deal out of her making a mess and shesaid oh are you going to clean up after your mess, she went on to explain that another woman made a huge mess in there a weekprior or something and didn?t clean it. So I proceeded to grab the broom, sweep up the little bit of rice on the ground, and shekept talking to us, then apologizing. And making a big fuss after I clean the mess that literally took me less than a minute.She made the biggest deal out of the smallest mess that a toddler made. If it was anybody else I could?ve started a hugeargument, but I?m not that way anyways just thought I?d put it on the review so other people can know. So we have been craving Nandos for quite sometime now but because it is not Halal we decided to try Barcelos out. Overall a... very satisfactory experience - the location, cleanliness, staff and ambiance are supremely excellent! Helen is a gem of aperson, (and easily the nicest, warmest and most courteous restaurant staff member I have ever come across). The food wasquickly served and presentation was great - we got the Supremo Combo. Taste wise, it doesn't beat Nandos, be it sauces, thechicken's size or that signature Nandos taste but overall it will satisfy the taste buds. Good location and very nice staff. Visited north Vancouver branch at dollarton hwy. Tried Chicken wrap, chicken pita, veggie... burger, veggie pita with fries. 3 options of spicy level. Good value for money. Read more
